Still no discussions on a great concrete skatepark project... they are now getting excited about taxation schemes... traffic lights .. ponds... seniors moving here .. dog's offleash park .. Rotary, Renaissance Sackville, Eco-EOS, marketing plans, bureaucrats, staff's authority, more boardwalks in the park, and where the power really lies here? Bruce Wark gets pretty ragey about the secrecy of town's mayor, stafff, CAO, council. CAO Phil, Bill Evans, and Mayor all actively blow off Bruce Wark with more word salad.

I hope you don’t mind me putting up posters around town for your website.. you do a phenominally thorough job covering all the small details.. and you know that the ‘devil is in the details’ .. one thing NBers all agree: we are overtaxed by our governments… big time.. I am especially pissed off about the carbon tax gang and those going along with it.
It certainly is a different kind of small town.... its run by 'technocrats', obviously.

Imagine if when you file your individual T1 income tax return every year, you had to pay a tax on the income tax. Meaning let’s say you paid $5,000 of income tax and then the government added another tax called the “income tax tax” and charged an additional 10% tax on the actual income tax itself. So you would pay $5,000 of income tax, plus $500 of income tax tax. Can you imagine any Minister of Finance ever daring to try such an outrageous plan? Yet this is exactly the situation we have with the carbon tax and the GST/HST applying on the carbon tax. It is utterly outrageous!

Yes Mayor Higham "Carbon Tax Is Theft" and you can bloody well stop promoting it.
A lot of people make the mistake of thinking the local governments are places where you could have an impact if you got involved.. but they couldn't be more wrong.. I realize there is nothing but corruption, and ingrained technocracy within local government and you have absolutely no input .. nor do they solicit it.
Example 1: 'carbon tax' .. our local mayor in Sackville has been behind it and promoting it enthusiastically... why?
