   “Clean” and “Dirty” are stupid words to compare tech. Dirt is dirty & we grow all our food in it. @algore says “dirty energy makes dirty weather”. So “dirty” is an epithet meaning “bad”, as in “dirty rotten scoundrel”. Coal my be dirty but it is old dead trees made with sunshine.
