Bigger Paydays Now for Some..... Beers, Blues and More... Tantramarshire Is Not For Profit

Some people are easily bought off.... we call those people 'politicians' and they seem to suggest to us that they work for us.... they make me laugh... voting doesn't actually do anything but line the pockets of a "few special people" around here.

Did the best candidate for the region win?

The man who brought us the troubling news of a "Japanese Knotweed" emergency in the local park is now the Mayor... imagine that? Its Clown World.

Andrew Black made a point of talking up the "we're on stolen lands" narrative in "Council Chambers" for the record... so its important to pay attention to these seemingly small things.. who says them and the intention behind these comments put on to the public record here.. if we are on 'stolen lands' and our Mayor introduces council meetings with an invitation to others to "acknowledge we are on unceded territory" where does that leave property owners, ownership rights and their property taxes? Who really owns the lands here?

Dorchester's boomer Debby is already making plans for spending her beer fund money at the local Legion... good for her... from Mayor to Councillor with a pay raise!

With so many returning 'warm bodies' from the old batch of 'warm bodies' I'm sure it won't lead to much innovation or prosperity for anyone; just more of the same 'culture of defeat' here in the maritimes. Election of 'fresh candidate' Moneris IT guy and scout leader Josh Goguen does beg the question:  'what's going on in the private group on Facebook he runs called 'Sackville NB Community Chatter' .. whatcha hidin' there Josh Goguen "Town Councillor Elect" ? Sackville NB Community Chatter | Facebook

The only candidate with any brains, plans and moxy was viciously attacked during this election.

Sorry to see the online frenzied mob run their "witch hunt" on Bonnie Swift but not surprised...

Of course the good news though was the end of Sabine Dietz sitting in local politics [at least in the foreground as she is always working hard in the background with technocrats].
