"Memramcook-Tantramar MLA Megan Mitton has announced the formation of a high-powered task force, the first of its kind in the province, to co-ordinate a response to the COVID-19 pandemic in southeastern New Brunswick.

Mitton says the Tantramar COVID-19 Task Force (TCTF) will include the mayors of Sackville, Dorchester and Port Elgin as well as the Chief of the Fort Folly First Nation."

THE LATE JOAN VEON EXPOSING INTERNATIONALISM for Tim Reiffenstein, Conspiracy Theorist at Mount Allison University

I have added this video to Indie Media Eastcoast on Bitchute for the record...

More here on their 'green Agenda' with Bruce Wark's article on Megan "Green Minion" Mitton who simply has no idea that her team's Agenda has caused the so-called 'crisis'. . . really clueless:

Higgs government lacks will to solve housing crisis, Greens say | (warktimes.com)

Kata List Productions says:

Perhaps the solutions are not political solutions… perhaps the solutions involve people using their time, energy, talents to work building more homes – job opportunities to create jobs for those who want to build. We can fret and worry but the truth is that quietly every day people are going to work and ‘building’ and ‘making’ and ‘creating’ things in the construction industry…. I would say this: Megan isn’t someone capable of solving housing shortage problems in the town as she is too happy to promote ‘sustainable development’ UN agenda 2030 which is an agenda for scarcity, not abundance… but that’s because she has been programmed by a university education. We have opportunities here for builders to build; not problems.
Raise children who want to create and build; don’t raise climate change protestors.
Simple advice for a mother in town… hope it doesn’t fall on deaf ears.

Tim Reiffenstein says:

OK, Sally, I’ll bite. Here is the link to the list of UN sustainable development goals. Please be specific in telling us which objectives frighten you. Otherwise, your comment just sounds like conspiracy theory talk.

Tim Reiffenstein 'the academic' really should do his homework before chiding others...... Joan Veon's books are excellent resources... I got my copies from local Tidewater Books many years ago  - thanks Ellen Pickle for the special orders ...  read and learn more here at these links:

Academia is populated with useful idiots for the United Nations... and some of them are extremely wealthy for their overall efforts.
Tim R. like many others working in the lucrative charity known as Mount Allison University has a vested interest in dumbing the population down...

Reposting: If I Had A Dollar For Every Time The Planners Started a Visioning Session Here I Would Be Rich!

Originally posted January 14, 2020...

Just remember.. the university culture is calling the shots in this small town.... they just need warm bodies to show up and give the appearance of consensus/agreement .. its called the "delphi technique" and you can google that one on youtube in your spare time... I just get such a kick out of the herd mentality and really love the predictability and cognitive dissonance in Bagtown.

If one were to go back through their books and study the expenditures on planning, visioning, workshopping or just general "clusterfucking" as I like to call it .. they'd see that all that money could have easily paid for a really great concrete skatepark project here years ago.. but hey.. these 'consultants' know something we just don't.. isn't that what they're selling?

I've already approached our "Ron Kelly-Spurles" about my idea and you know what he does by now.. he just whips out his cell phone and films me while threatening to call the police on me .. such a little man .. Ha!  Ron... you are the epitomy of weakness and stupidity!  God help you in your cult of green.

We want to hear from you! Portfolio, the consulting team leading the development of the Town’s new Marketing Plan, will be hosting a World Café on January 18, 2020. Residents are invited to give their input on the Town’s positioning efforts and provide guidance for future marketing initiatives. The results of the session will be integrated into a realistic and achievable five-year Marketing Plan, which is aligned with existing assets and priorities of the Town. We look forward to seeing you on January 18! "

Who you need to pay attention to .. Beth McMahon CEO of the Canadian Institute of Planners based in Ottawa -- they are the administrative mafia for land-use control freakery.  Unelected, networked and very well funded.  They're hoping you won't notice what they get up and just keep paying your attention to the puppet politicians who follow the same Agenda for control and scarcity, U.N. Agenda 2030 'sustainable development' - it is the problem...

Some may remember Beth McMahon from her days in Sackville NB ... I first met Beth in 2010 at a Halifax Health Expo where she hosted a table for "ACORN Atlantic" ACORN (@acornorganic) / Twitter

Jamie Burke, CEO of Sackville.com will be moving on from his post -- where will his career take him next?  Town of Tantramar election coming.... new mayor and new councillors too..

Hurricane Fiona FallOut Weather Warnings.....

special weather statement in effect

Hurricane Fiona is expected to bring dangerous weather conditions later this week.

Locations: Southern and Eastern New Brunswick.

Time span: Thursday evening until Sunday morning.

Potential hazards include: - Severe and damaging wind gusts - Very high waves and coastal storm surge - Intense rainfall rates

Remarks: Hurricane Fiona is expected to merge with a trough and transform into a hurricane force post tropical cyclone on Saturday. The combination of Fiona and the trough will produce very heavy rain beginning on Thursday. Flooding and washed out roads are likely in some areas.

Strong to severe wind gusts are expected to begin impacting the province overnight on Friday peaking on Saturday. Past storms of this nature have produced prolonged utility outages and structural damage. Buildings under construction will be particularly vulnerable.

Household preparations and emergency kits should be rushed to completion prior to the start of inclement weather. This would include sufficient food and water for up to 72 hours, means to charge cellular phones if lacking a landline and securing or removing outdoor furniture. Hazardous travel is likely and alternative travel plans should be sought in advance.

Environment Canada meteorologists will continue to monitor the situation seriously and will provide more details as Fiona approaches.

Politicians Have No Solutions for Problems - Because They Are The Problem...

Why is Megan Mitton MLA unable to fix anything?

She is an adherent to The Agenda... not the people's wishes... she does not understand that she is just another fabulously helpful 'tool' for control and scarcity... its not really her fault; she is a university brainwashed minion... there is no shortage of them in the town of Sackville New Brunswick.

Because of meddlers we have a problem around here.... and how do a few boomer women create a 'taskfarce' and get so much credibility around here?

Indie Media Eastcoast on Twitter: "Two local women heading up a 'task farce' are not authorities on anything here.. they're meddlers... that's their entire existence here.. its best that they are ignored to be honest... boomer clueless women." / Twitter

Is there a 'crisis' or a manufactured problem here?

Bruce Wark gives a voice to Green Megan Mitton MLA, again.... at this link... are we getting closer to some real discussions around here yet? Maybe:

Higgs government lacks will to solve housing crisis, Greens say | (warktimes.com)

Marika says:

That’s pretty much it – what the gov’t can do is to make it easier to move construction through the permitting and zoning processes. That way, more units become available at lower cost.

If they start messing with rent controls, the result will be that those already renting will be favoured with cheap rent, but those looking to rent will find no place to go, because nobody will build new units in a highly-regulated and controlled environment.

This is how these leftist “sound good / feel good” policies actually create the very problems that they purport to solve.

Wendy Alder says:

I agree!! We have been waiting since July 7th fir a building permit. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Kelly says:

So when I emailed Mitton back when I had a business that was being put in hardship over environmental policies, such as carbon tax, her response to how it was affecting our business and in turn employees was “what would you suggest to do?”. Guess she thought that was less comical. I guess it was my stupidity thinking she would have any ideas then and it would be equally so thinking her fringe party will be able to help the potential voters in this or other matters. How’s the hospital she saved now?

A little bit of history right in our back yard, literally we look out our windows on to the Tantramar Marsh!

The Tantramar Marshes also known as the Tintamarre National Wildlife Area is a tidal saltmarsh around the Bay of Fundy on the Isthmus of Chignecto. The area borders between Route 940, Route 16 and Route 2 near Sackville, New Brunswick.

At 20,230 hectares, the marsh is one of the largest on the Atlantic coast of North America.[1] The marshes are an important stopover for migrating waterfowl such as semi-palmated sandpipers and Canada geese. Now a National Wildlife Area the marshes are the site of two bird sanctuaries.

The name Tantramar is derived from the Acadian French tintamarre, meaning 'din' or 'racket', a reference to the noisy flocks of birds which feed there.

The landscape of the Tantramar Marshes has provided subject matter for the poets Charles G.D. Roberts, Bliss Carman, Douglas Lochhead, and Elizabeth Bishop, painter Alex Colville, and photographer Thaddeus Holownia.

Communities on or bordering the marshes include, in New Brunswick: Aulac and Sackville, and on the Nova Scotia side: Amherst, and Fort Lawrence.

When possible we will take you on a tour of the region (the garden of France) sharing with you the numerous chateaux, towns and markets. As well as the house we will be transforming the garden, bringing part of it back to its previous use as a potager.
