The Liberal Party of Canada has seen a lot of changes since gaining power in 2015 .. Dominic Leblanc has remained one of the "few to survive".. shown in the above photo with a bald head after cancer treatment he has survived and maintained his strong and unrelenting power within the party.

Liberal Party of Canada: Dominic LeBlanc, incumbent.

LeBlanc was first elected to Parliament in 2000 and has represented Beauséjour for about two and a half decades. He has held several cabinet positions throughout his career. His father, Romeo LeBlanc, was a former federal cabinet minister and Governor General of Canada.

Conservative Party of Canada: Nathalie Vautour.

Vautour was born in Dieppe. She is a Université de Moncton graduate and a business owner. Both her parents grew up in New Brunswick.

Green Party of Canada: Josh Shaddick.

Shaddick was born and raised in Miramichi. He is the regional manager for a drug and alcohol testing company, and ran as the Green candidate from Miramichi East in the 2024 New Brunswick provincial election. 

Libertarian Party of Canada: Donna Allen.

Allen was born and raised in southeastern New Brunswick. She ran as a Libertarian in the Tantramar riding in the 2024 provincial election.  

New Democratic Party: Alex Gagne.

Gagne is the former chair of the New Brunswick NDP youth caucus and a former organizer with the tenants' rights union Acorn, according to a spokesperson for the NDP. He is the former vice president for the New Brunswick NDP and was the Moncton East candidate in the 2024 provincial election.

People's Party of Canada: Eddie Cornell.

Cornell has served as a gunner in the Canadian Armed Forces for over a decade. He has also worked with the Ontario Provincial Police and participated in support of the 2022 trucker convoy in Ottawa, according to his campaign.

Libertarian calls climate change a hoax and a scam as Tantramar candidates discuss what to do about it at Mt. A. forum |

The local candidate for New Brunswick’s Libertarian Party startled about 40 onlookers at an all-candidates’ forum last night when she called climate change a hoax and a scam.

Donna Allen was responding to a question about how candidates would address climate change if they’re elected to represent Tantramar in the October 21st provincial election.

“I have no idea because I think it’s a scam,” Allen replied.

“You don’t believe in climate change?” someone called out from the audience.

“There’s climate change alright, but Irving is spraying the skies all the time,” Allen responded.

“It’s not from cows farting,” she added.

“The stuff that the government is telling us is off the charts,” she continued.

“We’ve had cows for thousands of years and in the 70s, they said there’s going to be an ice age by the 80s [and] in the 80s, they said there’s going to be a shortage in the 90s and in the 90s, they said something else was going to happen,” Allen added.

“Climate change to me is a hoax.”

My five major issues are:

1) End the Saudi Arms Deal - Canada should not be assisting the genocide in Yemen.

2) Balance the Budget - If interest rates rise to the levels where they were at the year of my birth - 1985, Canada's federal treasury will be empty. We have to tackle this now.

3) Tax Reform - The average Canadian is paying over $20,000 in taxes, either through hidden tax or explicit tax. Businesses don't have the capacity to grow in Canada while startups are excessively difficult without having friends in the government. Canada desperately needs tax reform.

4) Sound Money - Banks get rich off of printing money, devaluing the Canadian dollar's purchasing power. This hurts seniors and those on minimum wage the most. We need to end this practice to have any hope of eliminating poverty.

5) Free Market Environmentalism - Let's make sure Canadians save money by going green, rather than being taxed to go green.

Me: Right I never said Men shouldn't know *how* to clean, only that a more sensible division of labor is to have the man work to provide and protect the household while the woman manages the house and acts as the primary caretaker of the children...

Feminist: Why should I clean up after the man and feed him?! What am I, his mother?!

Me: You're no more his mother for keeping the house clean and preparing food than he would be your daddy for being the primary breadwinner....What the hell kind of logic is this? It's called a division of labor....

Feminist: Well why can't the Man stay home and the woman work! If it weren't for the patriarchal wage gap, then this would be the norm!

Me: Well, you're partially correct in that because Men generally make more money than women, that this is one of several factors for why he is better suited to be the breadwinner. However he makes more money, not because of "sexism" or "misogyny", but because of his career choices, hist greater inclination to acquire STEM skills/education, willingness to work longer hours, greater assertiveness in wage negotiations...etc.

Also, women are better suited for child rearing because they tend to be more empathetic and can breast feed among other reasons.

Feminist: So what you're saying is you think women are inferior and should be your property?!

Me: And your typical female inability to grasp the philosophical distinctions in my argument in favor of reacting emotively is why women shouldn't be allowed to vote either.

Feminist: Reeeee!!!!

Muslim: I agree with everything he said. However, I also think we should either convert or wipe out the white infidels, and establish an Islamic theocracy upon the ruins of western civilization!
