The local candidate for New Brunswick’s Libertarian Party startled about 40 onlookers at an all-candidates’ forum last night when she called climate change a hoax and a scam.

Donna Allen was responding to a question about how candidates would address climate change if they’re elected to represent Tantramar in the October 21st provincial election.

“I have no idea because I think it’s a scam,” Allen replied.

“You don’t believe in climate change?” someone called out from the audience.

“There’s climate change alright, but Irving is spraying the skies all the time,” Allen responded.

“It’s not from cows farting,” she added.

“The stuff that the government is telling us is off the charts,” she continued.

“We’ve had cows for thousands of years and in the 70s, they said there’s going to be an ice age by the 80s [and] in the 80s, they said there’s going to be a shortage in the 90s and in the 90s, they said something else was going to happen,” Allen added.

“Climate change to me is a hoax.”

More than likely Megan Mitton Green MLA took a weekly sodium fluoride oral mouth rinse in school. As a local advocate in the region I have received no pay or thanks for my efforts.. I imagine I am not in the same "club" that Madam Megan finds herself in .. which is the obediance puppy dog club.

Having been new to the province in 2010 I was immediately concerned about the school fluoride rinse programme and attempted to raise awareness and be an advocate for all our children.. which I have continued to do since 2011.. this has put me on a blacklist in the province.

 Vote her "net zero" butt out of power this year.

I think we've all had enough of her phoney emissions talk, fear-mongering b.s. to last us for a lifetime.

Rotational Workers Directive for Vaccination, COVID-19 Testing & Isolation
Definition of Rotational Worker:
A rotational worker is a resident of New Brunswick who has a set schedule where they alternate between living in New
Brunswick and living and working outside the province, such as an Alberta oil worker.
This directive only applies to rotational workers who travel to another province or territory in Canada (outside New Brunswick) to work. This does not apply to people who travel out of the province for work on occasion, for example, to attend a business meeting outside of New Brunswick once a month.
Effective March 26, 11:59 pm rotational workers who are at least 14 days post-vaccination no longer need to self-isolate upon return to New Brunswick and are free to move around as other New Brunswickers. Until we vaccinate more of the New Brunswick population, at this time, vaccinated rotational workers must also be tested for COVID-19 on day 5 and day 10 on each return to New Brunswick.
These guidelines do not apply to rotational workers who work outside of Canada. These workers must follow federal isolation and testing requirements in the Quarantine Act.

How do I make the arrangements to get vaccinated?
• Starting on March 24th, 2021, community pharmacies will start to take vaccine appointments for rotational workers, daily commuters and truckers.
• Contact a pharmacy to schedule an appointment.
When I return to N.B., can I get vaccinated during my 14-day isolation period?
• Yes. Rotational workers may break their self-isolation for the purpose of getting a vaccine as this is considered a necessary medical appointment.
• Rotational workers must go directly from home to a pharmacy for their vaccine appointment.
• A pharmacist may choose to book your appointment near the end of the day or arrange for vaccination in your vehicle.
• It is important to continue to follow public health measures including physical distancing, wearing a mask and using proper hand hygiene.
• After the vaccine appointment, return home to resume self-isolation and complete the 14-day self- isolation requirement.
