Downtown Saint John City New Brunswick Canada - Meet Up With Ricardo Duchesne - EuroCanadian.ca

I've been in touch with Ricardo Duchesne since 2015.  We were invited to a small meet up and book talk with UNB Professor and author Ricardo Duchesne in May 2018  ..  "Canada in Decay" is still a best-seller approximately four years since first publishing ...

Now in its Third Edition April 2021... Ricardo experienced an academic mobbing and left UNB.

Congratulations go out to a courageous Canadian Ricardo Duchesne for his efforts to inform the public about the agenda of 'white erasure' in Canada ... https://www.eurocanadian.ca/2019/08/canada-in-decay-two-years-later.html

One contributor to eurocanadian.ca writes:

"The letter against prof. Duchesne is a typical leftist concoction lacking any substance and hurling politically charged labels instead. The fact that it came from a group of UNB academics who publicized it in the media is a good thing: prospective students should be warned to stay away from UNB faculty who are likely to brainwash them.
The charge that prof. Duchesne’s publications didn’t go through “peer review” is misconceived: no independent research on immigration in Canada would be approved by the very scholars who have been lying to the public about these issues for decades. Further, peer review does not guarantee integrity of scholarship, as demonstrated by numerous peer-reviewed, politically correct “scholarly” works on Canadian immigration quoted by prof. Duchesne in "Canada in Decay." In politically sensitive scholarship, “peer review” can easily become a repressive tool of control; a way of eliminating works that do not follow the party line. Prof. Duchesne escaped control and it makes his leftists colleagues furious.
Obviously, they do not have any substantial criticism of prof. Duchesne’s scholarship to offer. After all, there should be no greater satisfaction for leftist academics than to prove that a “white supremacist” is an unreliable scholar who has no place in academia. Unfortunately, lack of peer review does not prove poor scholarship.
It may very well be that the UNB academics have nothing meaningful to say about prof. Duchesne and his work. Despite their plotting, for more than a year, “how to best respond to Duchesne’s beliefs” (as one of them put it) they neither disproved his scholarly integrity nor his criticism of the Canadian immigration policy.
Not that it was ever their point: keeping academic standards high at the UNB could not possibly be the purpose of a letter whose signatories include mediocre faculty hired as part of a spousal appointment.
Foolish in its purpose to undermine prof. Duchesne's scholarly reputation for not following the leftist dictate, the letter reveals a classic mechanism of groupthink among the UNB academics: narrow-mindedness, desire for conformity, the lack of independent thinking and critical evaluation of alternative viewpoints, and the unquestioned belief in their moral superiority.
Considering the tough competition for students nowadays, bigotry of the faculty is not the best selling point for a university. Prof. Duchesne may well be one of very few faculty members at the UNB whose works are worth reading; a real draw for serious students.
And then there is the issue of academic freedom violated by ideological censorship imposed by a group of faculty and their public character assassination of a colleague. Hopefully, the UNB will not go on record as an institution that takes unsubstantiated hit pieces at face value and succumbs to pressure for ideological uniformity in scholarly research."

Saint John New Brunswick also has a great skatepark downtown .. they built it underneath an overpass into the port area of downtown.

I enjoyed visiting this great little city .. I've been a few times since I moved to NB.

Dr. Ricardo Duchesne of apparently retired from Univ. of New Brunswick - the left wing outrage mob has claimed yet another victim. Basic Western principals such as freedom of thought & expression, even for professional academics, are meaningless in the West
A glimpse into the backwards, cowardly mindset of those who have persecuted Duchesne of - these types are the scum of the earth masquerading as “scholars”. @matthewasears why not debate the man and prove his ideas have “no academic merit”!
