Another Expensive Tantramar Town Hall Hire .. Why? Better Communication Internally?

Why are the "management" staff levels always increasing in this town.. with very highly paid people that appear not to be able to achieve anything for these large paydays that they receive ... so what is the goal?

Bloated bureaucracy is becoming the norm in our government.. waste.. and increased spending.

Why are your taxes increasing on your property>?

Is the current Tantramar Town Hall an inefficient operation and should its staffing be cut? Discuss...

Tantramar Welcomes New Director of Protective Services

More commentary found here:

"Geoff Martin says:

I think candidates for Mayor and Council should be advocating reforming council decision making and the role of councilors. If you are wondering why the policy making on the Tantramar fire department has not gone well, a major undiscussed reason is the structure of council. A citizen recently brought to my attention that Tantramar has no system of either council committees or Liaison Councilors. This is important because that system meant that 1-3 councilors would meet at least monthly with the department head to discuss the issues, and what actions needed to be recommended to council. In the areas of Finance and Administration, Parks and Recreation, and Protective Services, for example, three areas I served on in the 1998-2004 range, someone would be assigned to follow up on things, represent the interests of the council, and bring forward recommendations to the council which they would be able to justify. “How are things going in the Fire Department?” is a question that should have been asked every month over the past several years. No system of committees or Liaison Councilors means a centralization of power in the hands of the CAO and staff, and possibly the Mayor, and look where that got us. If everyone is responsible then often no one is. Veteran councilors who inherited and lived with the old system should have known better when there were proposals to eliminate it. Hopefully the next council will rethink this and restore the role of the regular councilor to specialize in municipal areas of activity in order to better serve the public."

What to do about Sackville Fire & Rescue? Tantramar mayoralty candidates discuss the ongoing turmoil |

Other expensive hires that appear unnecessary include Jamie Ferguson, Jeff Taylor, Ron Kelly-Spurles and Matt Pryde [who was hired to work in Parks and Rec. for the Town Hall but decided he would relocate himself into the Ice Rink Arena facility.]  All these hires are paid well but none of them seem to be able to get organized enough to actually build a new skatepark or instal an elevator at the ice rink.

Committee of the Whole meeting of Council - March 24, 2025 - Mayor Andrew Black Presiding

What aren't the muppets locally discussing in chambers yet?  Digital Economy, BioDigitalConvergence... of course!
Technocracy and the "re-imagining of our government's role in our lives"...   http://biodigcon.com

More here with "transformative" T.D. Bank's Frank McKenna:

If it feels like your politicians at all levels don't work for you its because they don't - they work for an Agenda.

Of Note:

Town Councillor Greg Martin [Aulac] says:  "I totally agree with the idea of not having two meetings in the summer time.. I enjoy a break in the summer time like everybody else would .. and I think that we should pass this on to the staff so that anybody who wants to make their plans can do it and enjoy a little bit of the summer.. uh.. we ask a lot of the staff.. and they're gonna be busy after the summer's over and with everything happening in an election next year.. and I think that it worked well last summer.. I didn't hear anybody complaining about not being able to access information for services that they wanted from the town hall and I think most people would agree that summer time is family time and if we can give it to the staff as we would enjoy it then we should be doing that, thank you Mayor"

This Week in Town Hall with Mayor of Tantramar Andrew Black....

More here as the Town Hall deploys the "Delphi Technique" on the public:

UK-Born Canadian on X: "Deploying "Delphi Technique" with Tantramar this week includes invited non-profit housing facilitators with U.N.compliant Mayor Andrew Black; "Climate Action Plan" is now being prepared as recommended by tourism manager Ron Kelly Spurles by funded Eco-EOS Energy paid thousands $. https://t.co/eRYKMQkXQf" / X

If you are not familiar with the "Delphi Technique" then look up the videos at Youtube to understand.

Such as this one:  Resisting the Delphi Technique

Mount Allison University's coverage of this gathering is here:

Public invited to share housing concerns this Saturday » CHMA, Voice of the Marshes

"Housing will be the topic of conversation at Tantramar’s municipal office this Friday and Saturday, as the Mayor’s Roundtable on Housing hosts its first major event.

A Friday stakeholder session featuring provincial and federal agencies is not open to the public or the media, but Saturday’s session will include an open mic for residents to share their experiences and concerns, says Mayor Andrew Black. Saturday will also include presentations on student housing, planning rules, non-profit housing, co-op housing, and ageing in place."

"Black says he’s hoping the sessions will help council understand the housing needs in the region."

“The problem that the mayor’s roundtable has is that it’s just, you know, a group of us that are operating somewhat in a vacuum,” says Black. “We want to make sure that what we’re talking about makes sense, so we decided to have this two-day housing event.”

Friday will be a “targeted stakeholder session,” says Black, with representatives from the New Brunswick Regional Development Corporation, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, developers, and mortgage specialists, all “sitting in a room talking about their organizations and the connections between municipalities and housing concerns.”

Though members of the public and media will not be permitted to observe the session, the municipality has hired a visual graphic recorder to document what’s said. “That information will be carried over into Saturday,” says Black, “which will help form the conversation that we have with the broader public.”

Saturday’s session ends with a plenary to bring together information from both days and come up with “next steps for the municipality,” says Black.

“Over the next couple of months the mayor’s roundtable will compile a lot of that data and see what next steps are,” says Black. “At the very least, I’m hopeful that we’ll hear from the public so that we can get a sense of broad and specific housing concerns within the municipality. So as a council, we can hear that.”

There’s no registration for Saturday’s event and all are invited. Snacks and refreshments will be provided."

Grifting Margot T. King Community Pillar and QEII Medal Winner Performing Locally Again

Bruce Wark reports...

"Kieran Miller, director of community and corporate services, says that last year, Sackville town council allocated $10,000 to help community volunteers and the Horizon Health Network recruit doctors using such tools as a marketing study and a recruitment website."

Tantramar hopes to spend $10K to help recruit doctors for Sackville Memorial | (warktimes.com)

Margot T. King makes her presentation ...

Committee of the Whole Meeting - February 27, 2023 - YouTube

If you're a volunteer asking for money for your group then you're no longer a volunteer  -  you are a grifter.

Hope that clears up any confusion around here... no one asks these people to set up their 'taskforces', 'coalitions', and 'community meddler groups' but they do seem to think they are doing important work all the same.  But are they?  Are they actually part of the problem?

Discuss among yourselves.

Featured Town Hall Staffer at Sackville.com .... Matt Pryde - Parks & Recreation

Matt Pryde works at the Town of Sackville m.pryde@sackville.com

screen grab from Youtube Town of Sackville

Matt Pryde is a parks and recreation worker.

He's shown zero interest in getting the concrete venue "Tantramar Skate Park Project" done and I've been doing advocacy here since 2013.  Link here:  Tantramar Skate Park Project

Matt Pryde simply laughed at me in the waterfowl park when I brought the project discussion up with him to get his help. What does he actually work on?

Rating overall:  he's not a professional guy... not a serious person... not a guy who can actually be looked to for doing the real work required to get a big project done... so who does he report to?

Todd Cole, Manager of Parks & Facilities  t.cole@sackville.com

Pryde's been on the generous payroll here since about 2015.

Background as an Ontario group home worker.

Matt Pryde is the owner of "The Ice-Cream Co-Op" selling sugary treats next to Sackville Commons on Lorne Street... @

The Ice Cream Coop - Home | Facebook

Unmuzzled now Matt Pryde sits next to muzzled minion at the Town Hall meetings; he must have got the memo.

Matt Pryde has shown only contempt for my efforts around here... if he goes on to work for the "Town of Tantramar" I would suggest that he take up this project as a worthwhile effort for his career.

Expensive Endless Pond Projects for Technocrats .... "Higham's Pond" in the heart of downtown Sackville

The politics of fear: climate, covid, and ponds...
just watching the wheels go 'round here...

Why are they are always
living in fear ...?
Remember though there is no money for a great concrete
skatepark project folks #TantramarCorruption

If you're not outraged about corruption you're just not paying attention as they say.....
Bruce Wark reports...
https://warktimes.com/2019/01/19/construction-proceeds-on-lorne-st-flood-control-project/

Local technocrats & compliant useful idiots for UN global governance/sustainable development are so scared of 1 in 100 yr flood they're spending $2 million to dig a pond in town on massive Ducks Unlimited UNESCO marsh pond site .. nuts .. idiotic.. crazy... 🤡'

and the view from CAO Jamie Burke's front porch has been improved......

'Boomer' Higham was at the helm as the event known as the 'covid pandemic' kicked off in the world.

More on the league of technocrats/useful idiots like John Higham at http://technocracy.news

We're left with a crew of compliant vaxxed muzzled actors now pretending they represent the people.... John Higham departed politics in late 2020 and moved on to other projects in the 'community' related to 'healthcare'... and our region's apparent need for yet another 'taskforce'... go figure?  There's always a grift happening here... you don't have to look far to find the players on the take... do you?

Percy Best for Mayor ....

Percy Best says:
"The disturbing thing about the dumping is that when I went to see Manager Lori Bickford at the Tantramar Regional Service Commission to ask permission to dump the 50,000 cubic metres of soil on my property across Crescent Street from the Terra Beata facility, I was told that it was impossible because it was zoned wetland and there was no way they could allow any material to be deposited there.
Well the site is in the Sackville Industrial Park and runs all the way down to include the dyke system by our old Town Dump. It is within 800 metres of the project excavation site.. The base there is the same material composition as that which is being excavated from the St James Street area. The contractor that I was trying to help by supplying a dumping site is a LOCAL COMPANY. They wanted to keep their tendered price down as low as possible, which they could do by having a very short and practical route and as a result they were hoping to be the successful bidder and employ Sackville based trucks, equipment, and their drivers throughout the winter.
The Crescent Street proposed site is now an unused and non productive marsh area. The 5000 tandem dump truck loads of fill would allow much of this 35 acre low lot to be brought up to the elevation of the surrounding properties, like the firewood splitting business next door, and would enable it to be used in the future as a productive area of our Industrial Park. The proposal was to cap the site with shale to enable the parking of tractor trailers.
I cannot understand if any logic was used to take the material all the way down towards Frosty Hollow and then dump it in a residential/farming area just off Rte 106. Does anyone have any answers?"
Mayor of Kentville Sandra Snow

getting it done..

Besides the climate change con job
the covid con job is probably the biggest grift
we have seen in years...
the cost of the climate covid cult is immeasurable
in human lives lost and ruined and to be lost in the
coming years.. but they don't seem to care... do they?

Regular Council Meeting - March 9, 2020 - " Clown Hall for Climate Hysterics "

How to reach these 'players' by email. FYI I see their 'performances' very clearly.
They are working very hard to bring about UN Agenda 21/Agenda 2030 for all citizens here.
My advice would be for them to offer their letters of resignation immediately.
Do not consent to support them by joining them in the 'theatre' known as town hall.. they have already told you they work for the corporation sackville.com not you in this video presentation and that they will be participating in an 'exercise' for the covid-19 scare.
