Ramsar, Wetlands City Network, Ron Kelly Spurles "Wetlands City" designation go-to guy

More here:  The Ramsar Convention on Wetlands - DCCEEW

Surely, Tourism Manager for Tantramar Ron Kelly Spurles is required to now fly the RAMSAR flag at the local Visitor Information Centre?

I must phone him and make sure he gets onto this task asap... no task too small for ol' Ronny.. eh?

The " Eden Project " ~ Family Vacations Abroad - Cornwall United Kingdom Attraction - June 2010 Memories

Our family travelled over to the south of England and Wales in June 2010... just before we moved to the Tantramar....
staying in St. Erth near Cornwall's "Eden Project" in the UK

The Eden Project's website:   https://www.edenproject.com/

this would be a really great project for
attracting people to visit here and for
 the development of the Tantramar!

Industrial hemp exhibit..

There was a lot to take in at this amazing place.

One thing I do remember being impressed with too was their gift shop where they sold lots of products made from recycled materials
such as tires, plastics, and paper products....
so that's the answer, intelligent use of resources

Bunting in the garden. Brits love their bunting xo

Repurposing, reusing, recycling... such as these
men did in Nova Scotia building a house
from recycled plastic bottles...
this is what can be done using technology
[banning plastic is not the answer].

Souvenir cards included this one on growing
 veggies.

While you are down in the south west of England don't miss out on
seeing the historic and amazing St. Michael's Mount -
travel is a great education for a family ..
and travel with your youngsters is an invaluable investment
that you will never regret .. so who needs Disneyland?!

Educate, elevate, evolve...

Tantramar Skate Park Project - New Brunswick Canada : GlobalBEM.com

Youth, culture, tourism, fun... the next really special thing to happen in Tantramar.
We are unique in our advocacy in that we also promote the Global Breakthrough Energy Movement and have done so for a number of years in the region...

Tantramar Skate Park - Facebook .. project for the youth, tourism, culture, fun, freedom ...

I'm happy to advocate for the youth who presented to the town council and mayor in 2013 and were completely ignored by the staff and people we pay to represent us .. I would love to see a lot of people at the town hall cut from the payroll.. and the money re-directed towards a great skatepark venue.. over 36 staff / warm bodies at the 'palace' town hall... and no one wants to make this their priority.. very sad.

A new great skatepark venue is a project that is long overdue and it would enhance quality of life for the youth in this town ... some things are obvious to me .. just common sense and make life better for others ...

And no, a windfarm really doesn't improve anyone's life .. does it? Why advocate for it then? The mayor in this town gets excited about windfarms but ignores the youth skatepark project completely... so I regret voting for him; he's out of touch and he's old and he doesn't matter to me .. none of the elected officials speak to me on what matters here .. they're boring and I don't attend town hall meetings for this reason.

I don't advocate for the wasteful spending that our government, technocrats, bureaucrats and unelected minions carry out .. its offensive... who will champion our youth and their new skatepark project??

Do you like this photo? Because it didn't come cheap: Public Works spent $555,272 on this building wrap on the old Canada Post office in Ottawa, including $82,000 on the design alone, according to documents obtained by the CTF (which you can see at: http://www.taxpayer.com/media/BuildingWrapATIP.pdf)
