I must phone him and make sure he gets onto this task asap... no task too small for ol' Ronny.. eh?

Andrew Black refers to the U.N. RAMSAR designation as the "jewel in our crown" but is it?  There were zero public consultations about taking on this designation and it is the first place in North America to do so.  What could some of the future downsides to this U.N. designation turn out to be?
