Projects Over Politics in Tantramar - Tantramar Skate Park Project

 

The current Mayor Andrew Black is a skateboarder so he understands the joy of the sport very well..

he is also re-offering in this election as Town Councillor for Ward 3 in Tantramar and if he is elected I pledge to hold his feet to the fire as I continue to nudge the project forward.. it has been years of advocating in the region for the youth and unfortunately so far not much has been done due a lack of interest by Matt Pryde Parks & Rec.  Hopefully, the new Mayor can kick Matt's ass into gear to really get this long overdue youth project going in 2026.

Our young skateboarders were seeking a great skatepark with their Sackville Skate Park Committee back in 2013 .. Julian the organizer has since moved away but lots of the youth are still here .. they made a presentation in front of the town hall council and mayor .. they were completely ignored ... that's eight year ago.... how long does this project take to do?

Why Does "Tantramar Skate Park Project" Always Get Ignored ?

Facebook page is unavailable now.....

Why does the Town ignore the project?

A group of skateboarding youth presented their request

to Town Council in the summer of 2013.. so far.. nothing...

no action; no plans; no project underway... why?

The Town decided to focus discussions instead

on an off-leash-dog park idea... ? Why?

Matt Pryde, Phil Handrahan, and Ron Kelly-Spurles ALL manage the town's Facebook page and block people from contributing that live here and pay taxes -- that's wrong .. they decided in 2015 to ban me / block me from posting there.
Using their positions of power to suppress my voice or anyone's voice is abusive .. its called cultural marxism... welcome to your world run by "fascist thugs".

Great projects happen because plans are made and effort is taken to see them through.  I have no idea what these guys are "smoking" but they are the laziest bunch of overpaid minions I have ever witnessed.  I have lived in a lot of places.

lovely skatepark attached to their waterfowl park

How do you manage to advocate when your voice is taken away online and your character is continually slandered by others?  You persevere with project goals, art and artivism.  Its about setting some priorities for beneficial projects that help many Canadians .. how about putting Canadian youth first for a change Sackville?

This great project would add to the vitality of the town and a draw for tourism ..

Just another week of wasting money in Commville....
the amount of money these clowns waste could have easily paid
for a great big concrete skatepark project twice over in the past five years...

"Pryde said that council will be asked to approve holding the popular Street Chalk Art Festival on Bridge Street, August 23-24. The town has already allocated $15,000 in this year’s budget to support it." 

But no money for a great & lasting legacy youth project - Tantramar Skate Park ..again, thanks for the update on wasteful money spending New Wark Times .. Canadian Taxpayers Federation

The current tiny patch of skatepark in town.... well its just sad.
No matter how many pieces of equipment you add it
will not be a great skatepark .. its a half-assed attempt..
it requires some vision and some initiative to get this done.

... doing absolutely nothing to help or support the forgotten project for the youth ... of course... why help?  Julia the "Felthammer" basically 'grifted' 64 Main Street for Lafford, the rich local developer, and has no problem with making herself into a tool for the '1%' ..

I don't need subsized beers in my life... I'm pretty SURE the youth around here have HOWEVER needed a great youth centre for a long time .. long before the 'change agent' "Felthammer" showed up here to start her "hub for commi"...... but that's not important to the commi who run their grift.. is it? The commi have a mission to 'transform our capitalist economy' into a kibbutz / co-op system.. its obvious isn't it?  Ask Julia if she is a fan of capitalism, free markets? She is not.

Currently, the town does not allow me to comment on their Facebook page [since 2015] but I would advise them that there are two locations that could be used for a youth centre/concrete skatepark build:

"George's Roadhouse" sits for sale for cheap on an unused industrial acre in town near the Via train station [which is also available and unused] ... it would take some creativity and actual desire on the part of well paid town employees to make a skatepark build and youth centre happen - that's what is required ... its not my job to create these facilities for the public .. I'm not paid to do that but they are expected to work for the public:  "Tantramar Skate Park" a project for the youth.

The "hub" are not interested in this project and in fact Julia's actions made it impossible to recycle/reuse/repurpose the old Firehall site into a youth centre.

Tantramar Skate Park project is a vision for a great venue for the youth here.
Its not been easy to promote due to censorship by the town and staff... but I persevere because I believe this is a great endeavour and will leave a wonderful lasting legacy for many generations of youth to come and play here... I haven't let the 22 bans of 30 days each on Facebook slow me down at all ..

Skate Kids Lives Matter... an all ages .. all inclusive project

Wow.. would be great for the youth here to have a park .. and great for tourism! Tantramar Skate Park project.

If they can find $1.9M for a new pond park project in the middle of town [ that is set against a massive pond already ] then they can find a few hundred thousand dollars to build a legacy youth project here.

I am not interested in the chattering gossipy social justice people in this town .. I am interested in providing a great venue for the youth go play, let off steam, hang out with their friends.. that's it.

I started Tantramar Landowners Association because of censorship that I have experienced here.

I do not support the old people in government pushing their 'global governance' b.s. at us.

I don't support carbon tax schemes, windfarm projects or anti-oil and gas mouthpieces either.. that's why they see me as such a big pain in the ass .. I do not go along with their 'narrative' & groupthink.
