National Citizens Alliance - Stephen Garvey Interviews John Meyer, Immigration Expert

In this longer video linked below from May 10, 2018 Stephen Garvey of National Citizens Alliance talks to John Meyer about the issues that are not being addressed and the concerns surrounding mass immigration, including but not limited to the reality that immigration is not good for our economy nor good for our citizens... something you WILL NEVER hear the CBC report on and the experts and reports that have been produced to indicate that 'diversity' is not our strength... watch at this link on Gab.ai a new platform I'm using that is not so prone to censorship and muzzling people.. which is good. https://gab.ai/tv/watch/13980

Frances Widdowson - 2017 - The Political Economy of “Truth and Reconciliation”: Neotribal Rentierism and the Creation of the Victim/Perpetrator Dichotomy

except from conference paper prepared by SAFS.ca Academic Frances..

"Neotribal Rentierism and “Truth and Reconciliation” Although the current characterization of the residential schools as a form of “cultural genocide” is portrayed as being linked to a more accurate and sympathetic historical understanding of aboriginal-non-aboriginal relations,35 this view fails to recognize how it is connected to neotribal rentierism. Neotribal rentierism, as has been discussed in more detail elsewhere,36 has resulted from aboriginal groups being transformed by capitalism; it is where the increasing productivity brought by the capitalist mode of production has resulted in egalitarian native kinship groups becoming increasingly stratified into what Elizabeth Rata has called a “neotribe” – a new kind of political organization that gives certain members of aboriginal communities privileged access to legally created tribal resources."

ASTANA EXPO 2017 - Kind of a Big Deal!

ASTANA EXPO 2017 was the least covered big deal last year ..

Because I was already looking into Expo 67 remembrance celebrations on a facebook page for Montreal's 50th anniversary since Expo 67 I noticed a gentleman posting this video and his Facebook page was shown as this link ...

These things are news... these are big deals... why doesn't CBC cover them?

Inclusiveness.. NGOs [ non-governmental organizations], Non-Profits, Grant Writers, Co-Ops, Start-Ups, Moochers

The 'new economy' promoters are moochers and parasites .. #gibsmedat is not growing anything but cronyism.. wake up kiddos.

Mooching from government for funding is not only a talent and a skill its now celebrated.. imagine that?
When did helping yourself to public money become such a respected and promoted skill.  Welcome to the 'new economy' and as they slowly "transform pockets of economy" to quote one popular local 'social enterpreneur'  moocher explains her gibsmedat work ... you can be sure they are chuckling all the way to the free #gibsmedat piggy bank.. Meanwhile, average working class Canadians actually work for their money, pay their taxes, and struggle...

Multicultural Historian: Early White Canadians Were Lazy Colonizers, Not Hardy Farmers

Multicultural Historian: Early White Canadians Were Lazy Colonizers, Not Hardy Farmers   <---- article from CEC - Prof. Ricardo Duchesne ..

excerpt here...

Daniel Panneton, a "Historian & Outreach Officer at Multicultural History Society of Ontario," calls extremist my view that Canada was created by pioneers and settler farmers. He says it is "racist" and a "myth" to say that Canada was created by Euro-Canadians. The only historically accurate view of Canada's past is that it was a "culture of white supremacy, a culture that is continually replicated and reshaped by our political and cultural institutions."

The notion that "Anglo-Celtic" settlers endure hardships in Canada working in their farms is a "myth". Euro-Canadians were lazy colonizers who simply "usurp Indigenous lands rights" as their property, calling themselves "civilized" and designating the "Other" as "uncivilized".

Panneton offers no evidence to back any of these blanket statements. He surmises instead that his reading of The Wretched of the Earth, a 1961 book written by a Caribbean black (which I and every undergrad has been required to read across the West since published) is enough documentary evidence to question the "myth" that Canada had any substantive Anglo identity based on actual hard work. This book taught Panneton that the European colonization of Africa and the way they "essentialized" all peoples in Africa as "Negro" and "backward" applies to the way Euro-Canadians essentialized Amerindians as similarly "uncivilized". A Right To Arms - Prof. John Robson

Book Review: "Across Atlantic Ice: The Origin of America's Clovis Culture"-- Stanford & Bradley

Smithsonian Insider...

New book reveals Ice Age mariners from Europe were America’s first inhabitants

Some of the earliest humans to inhabit America came from Europe according to a new book Across Atlantic Ice: The Origin of America’s Clovis Culture. The book puts forward a compelling case for people from northern Spain traveling to America by boat, following the edge of a sea ice shelf that connected Europe and America during the last Ice Age, 14,000 to 25,000 years ago."Across Atlantic Ice : The Origin of America's Clovis Culture" Across Atlantic Ice is the result of more than a decade’s research by leading archaeologists Bruce Bradley of the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, and Dennis Stanford of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. Through archaeological evidence, they turn the long-held theory of the origins of New World populations on its head. For more than 400 years, it has been claimed that people first entered America from Asia, via a land bridge that spanned the Bering Sea. We now know that some people did arrive via this route nearly 15,000 years ago, probably by both land and sea. Eighty years ago, stone tools long believed to have been left by the first New World inhabitants were discovered in New Mexico and named Clovis. These distinctive Clovis stone tools are now dated around 12,000 years ago leading to the recognition that people preceded Clovis into the Americas. No Clovis tools have been found in Alaska or Northeast Asia, but are concentrated in the south eastern United States. Groundbreaking discoveries from the east coast of North America are demonstrating that people who are believed to be Clovis ancestors arrived in this area no later than 18,450 years ago and possibly as early as 23,000 years ago, probably in boats from Europe. These early inhabitants made stone tools that differ in significant ways from the earliest stone tools known in Alaska. It now appears that people entering the New World arrived from more than one direction.

In “Across Atlantic Ice,” the authors trace the origins of Clovis culture from the Solutrean people, who occupied northern Spain and France more than 20,000 years ago. They believe that these people went on to populate America’s east coast, eventually spreading at least as far as Venezuela in South America. The link between Clovis and contemporary Native Americans is not yet clear. Bradley and Stanford do not suggest that the people from Europe were the only ancestors of modern Native Americans. They argue that it is evident that early inhabitants also arrived from Asia, into Alaska, populating America’s western coast. Their ongoing research suggests that the early history of the continent is far more intriguing than we formerly believed. Some of the archaeological evidence analyzed in the book was recovered from deep in the ocean. When the first people arrived in America, sea levels were nearly 130 meters lower than today. The shore lines of 20,000 years ago, which hold much of the evidence left by these early people, are now under the ocean. This is also the case in Europe.

“We now have really solid evidence that people came from Europe to the New World around 20,000 years ago,” Bradley says. “Our findings represent a paradigm shift in the way we think about America’s early history. We are challenging a very deep-seated belief in how the New World was populated. The story is more intriguing and more complicated than we ever have imagined.” “There are more alternatives than we think in archaeology and we need to have imagination and an open mind when we examine evidence to avoid being stuck in orthodoxy,” Stanford adds. “This book is the result of more than a decade’s work, but it is just the beginning of our journey.”Across Atlantic Ice is published by University California Press, Berkeley.–Source University of Exeter

From eight years ago now .. but Bill Evans has been a long time town councillor since this was shared on Facebook by his administrator of the group who were seeking to have him elected in this region.
Some more recent endeavours that Bill and his wife have been involved with are the resettlement of refugees into this region for 'diversity' .. working with rev. John Perkin at mta.ca and his "Sackville Refugee Resettlement Coalition" group - which can be found on facebook.. Bill Evans also showed his support for the town's first "Gay Pride Parade Event" in 2015 part of about 200 supporters.

Who is Federal NDP candidate Jaggi Singh and why should you care?

Federal riding news for Papineau Quebec ... Jaggi Singh is a very controversial anti-colonialist activist/politicians .. see the video on his twitter .. "Queen Victoria Statues Vandalized in Montreal" for his "Victoria Day" tweet... worth keeping an eye on this one.. and the development & progress of NDP politically.

Tintamarre Wildlife ~ National Reserve ... Canada

To learn more on this "Tintamarre" reserve of lands, preservation of nature, wildlife, wetlands, ponds, rivers, lakes, marshes, trees, plants, flora, fauna.....[ its what is a priority for many in this region and those involved are very involved because their idea of no development is preferable for some reason] visit at their  govt website here
There is a lot of potential for development here; its not a welcome thought for many who just want to land grab and keep humans out.. see also "Community Land Trusts" which are being promoted in this region .. in partnership with NGO orgs. that are funded by government such as "Community Forests International" .. the give-away is the word 'community' .. its communitarianism .. and that's a problem.. it is as Niki Raapana describes it "the dictatorship of the community" .. more at ACL Books Alaska http://nord.twu.net/acl .. Also, recommended reading "Cloak of Green" by Elaine Dewar, 1995.
