[revised] mta.ca mafa is decidedly anti-industry & anti-capitalism .. that is a BIG problem.

Couldn't join in the 'fun' public event with Naomi Klein
held in January 2016 at Mount Allison University's Convocation Hall.

The whackademics here are well aware of the advocacy that I am doing.
I've been confronted and told that I am pissing off a lot of people... imagine that?

Would have asked anti-capitalism shill
Naomi Klein if she had read Alex Epstein's great book
"The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels"

The university anti-resource development culture who does not present a balanced argument when it comes to resources in Canada along with brainwashed 'divest mta' minions continually influence the politicians and policies at the town hall .. there is no doubt about this fact around here... and yes, its a big problem -- a vocal shrill minority of anti-development cretins are an angry ill-informed mob dictating policy.. not helpful.
I observe with interest; thanks Bruce Wark for the coverage ... and take note of the local politicians and how they voted below:

Ron Aiken is running for Mayor this year against Shawn Mesheau:

"The five councillors who voted in favour of the motion opposing the pipeline were Bill Evans, Megan Mitton, Allison Butcher, Bruce Phinney and Andrew Black.

Councillors Ron Aiken, Joyce O’Neil and Michael Tower voted against the motion introduced by Bill Evans."

The local university produces "Emma" types
who live in fear of the climate.
On her Twitter Emma [based in Alberta]
is sure we are running
out of time as she echoes
the words of Prince Charles...
one of the top dogs in
 the Climate Change Mafia

Mount Allison Faculty Association Hit The Streets in Strike Action Again This Year

A "modern art" exhibit at "The Owens Gallery" Mount Allison University 2015...
"Oh Canada" presentation included some spinning plastic bottles eh?
Previously the MAFA strike action lasted about two weeks..
I had a chance to speak with a lot of the people on the picket line..
but mostly I felt bad for the students who were losing out

Meanwhile in the town's park the sign for Bud is missing.. what's up with that?
Its symbolic of the demographic replacement taking place eh?
1 million per year newcomers.. wow..

Meanwhile on Twitter... Mount Allison University President Boudreau is virtue signalling to his "progressive peeps"..

In 2019 I was honoured by our Elders at a Grandmothers' naming ceremony: Man of Thunders (warrior: Thunderbird)
🦅
This weekend, in Elsipogtog, Leona Simon (amazing Mi'kmaq artist!) presented me w/ a rare double-sided Medallion (aka: Dally)

Welaʼlin Leona!

As MAFA are local influencers and were previously on strike for "academic freedom" one can understand how they are also change agents/activists and use their union as a political organization.  Are fossil fuels really a thing of the past MAFA?  Why do they have a MAFA banner up at the Tantramar Veterans Ice Irena?

Are MAFA about to go on strike again at Mount Allison University campus in Sackville New Brunswick?  Possibly.  https://www.mafa.ca/about/executive/

"Litvak said the union will decide on Friday, Dec. 20 the date a strike vote will be scheduled if a tentative agreement has not been reached.
“We will continue to negotiate with the administration to get a fair deal for our members which will protect the academic mission of the university,” said Litvak. “One of our most important concerns is academic understaffing. This longstanding issue urgently needs to be addressed in order to ensure that the university can continue to deliver its academic programs.”

Bruce Wark's coverage here:

The students are the ones hurt by strike action so I hope for the sake of those individuals who pay very good money to attend at mta.ca that these people resolve their issues and not go on strike, again.
