I've advised Town Councillors Greg Martin [Aulac], Allison Butcher, and Bruce Phinney [both of Ward 3] about the issue of/and the hazards of doing land acknowledgements from a legal standpoint... they've not spoken about it at all during meetings.. and there was Mayor Andrew Black's "stolen lands" comment--problematic.
