We want to hear from you as planning begins for the Tantramar's 2027 municipal budget.

The municipal budget is among the most important matters that Council will decide. Your input can help inform how tax dollars are allocated. Wondering how you can take part? Read on below:

Method 1: Present to Council at the Sept 22 Budget Meeting

Tantramar residents, groups & organizations can register to present to Council and share their input on budget planning, to request funding/support for their group or project, or other budget-related matters.

Registration deadline: 4:30 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Register by this time to receive the full 5 mins to present. Those who register later will receive 2 mins to present.

To register, email Clerk@TantramarNB.com or call 506-364-4930

Method 2: Complete the Survey online or via paper copy

Fill out the survey online at: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/eXrJYUqzWe

Pick up a paper copy at Tantramar Municipal Building front desk (31c Main St, Sackville)

Complete the survey by: Monday, October 12 at 4:30 pm

 One project is getting the boosting and green lit by the "community" in our region and one project was needlessly delayed for years.. but why? Why are both these projects that would each provide lots of much needed housing being treated differently?  Tantramar's obsession with picking winners and losers is becoming difficult to ignore.
