A few years ago on a very lovely, warm afternoon I was upstairs in the Mount Allison University Library - in the upper floor - and I found this book that had been suggested to me by a man in Ontario a while ago .. The copy of "Cloak of Green" at mta.ca had not been checked out since the mid-1990s .. it was published in 1995 .. written by the amazing Elaine Dewar of Ontario Canada .. Elaine is a thorough researcher and important Canadian author. Her blog here
I really cannot recommend this book enough! Thanks Elaine and thanks Lorimer Publishers in Halifax... also recommend her other books "SMARTS", 'Bones", "The Second Tree" which I purchased through Tidewater Books .. so far I have not read her latest book "The Handover" but she has won awards and it is sure to be another powerful piece of work.
