Welcome to the Libertarian Party of New Brunswick, where we stand firmly on our principles to ensure all individuals have the freedom to live their lives and pursue their interests as they see fit, as long as they do no harm to another. Our core beliefs revolve around significantly reducing the size and intrusiveness of government, cutting and eliminating taxes at every opportunity, and allowing peaceful, honest people to offer their goods and services without inappropriate interference from the government.

 

 

We believe in a society where peaceful, honest individuals can make their own decisions about how to live their lives, free from the fear of criminal or civil penalties. Founded in 2024, our party advocates for a more prosperous New Brunswick.

 

 

As part of the broader Libertarian movement, we are dedicated to expanding individual freedom to its furthest limits. We affirm the principles of no person or institution having the right to initiate the use of force or fraud against another, and that the only moral purpose of government is the preservation of individual rights. We also recognize the voluntary exchange of goods and services as essential for a free and prosperous society.

"The federal election is two months away, and the New Democratic Party still doesn't have a candidate in any of the 10 New Brunswick ridings.

Yvon Godin, the former NDP member of Parliament for Acadie-Bathurst, blames party leader Jagmeet Singh and the small amount of time he's spent in New Brunswick and other parts of Canada that don't have big cities. 

"I find it sad to see that, because the NDP has done good in the past," said Godin, who was an MP for 18 years.

Dear Members,

We need your help keeping the Libertarian Party of Canada alive. Will you please sign and mail in the attached triennial forms for Elections Canada to help keep our party official?

We have been fighting for liberty for over 45 years and are the only party having any success at shifting Canadian culture towards more liberty. Here are some of the pieces of evidence that we are making a difference:

1) Maxime Bernier almost won CPC leadership with a libertarian platform. This wasn’t because he toed the CPC party line in voting against liberty for 2.5 terms in office. This was because people like us popularized the ideas of liberty and created a wave for him to catch.

2) I have been headhunted by the CPC, the Wildrose Party, the UPC and the Freedom Conservative Party. This isn’t because I got 2-3% of the vote in the last election, it was because of the influence and respect libertarians have in culture. Because of the work we are doing in this party.

3) More politicians and citizens identify as libertarian than ever before. This isn’t because of pragmatic politicians chasing votes, its because libertarians stood on the political stage with courage and unapologetically promoted the principles that built western civilization.

We took a hit with the formation of the PPC. Many members left our party with the hopes that Maxime Bernier might be able to take liberty to the next level in Canada. I admit I was attracted to the idea that Bernier could be a Canadian Ron Paul. Unfortunately, Bernier’s party has turned out to be a dud for libertarians.

Well I’m done licking my wounds and I’m back in the fight along with many other volunteers. Our party is keeping the pedal down for liberty and I hope you join us. Please fill out the attached forms and get them to Elections Canada as soon as possible. Our deadline is July 2nd.

NDP Federal Party Leader Jagmeet Singh told to leave polling station by DRO.

Leader of NDP ... Jagmeet Singh broke Canadian elections law on February 25, 2019 when he showed up at a polling station to convince voters to cast their ballot for him. In the video below he was thrown out by the Deputy Returning Officer and then proceeds to convince voters a few meters away from the polling station to vote for him. This is a direct contravention of section 166 (C) in a polling station or in any place where voting at an election is taking place, influence electors to vote or refrain from voting for a paticular candidate.
We urge all folks to file a complaint with elections Canada to formalize an investigation of undue influence and pressure on the Burnaby electorate..

"So, Trudeau is preparing to waste more $billions to take his seat at the UN and please international elites. What I propose is a foreign policy that focuses on the security and prosperity of Canadians—not pleasing the dysfunctional United Nations and spending taxpayers $ abroad.

Every year, we spend $5 billion on programs to help other countries. But the case for foreign aid is extremely weak. Countries that are growing out of poverty do so because they got rid of socialist policies and adopted free markets, liberalized trade and private property rights.

Countries that remain poor are those where governments are still crushing private initiative. Until they liberalize their economy and free their citizens, no amount of aid will make a difference. On the contrary, it creates a cycle of dependency and helps these government stays in power.

We should use that money to cut taxes or help Canadians in need and phase out this foreign aid, for which there is no moral or economic efficiency argument. "From 2015. Government grows even when conservatives get power and that was when they paid lip service to principle and Harper was trotted out as libertarian leaning. Then came the libertarian purge (google “Harper manning libertarian), the Keynesian policies, the auto bail outs etc.
