The town is awash with these communitarians and their funded "community groups" who meddle and waste taxpayer money.... why? Why is this the 'normal' around here?  There's nothing more annoying than moochers!  

Our Mayor John Higham role appears to be social engineering, 'community building', meddling in every facet of life here for folks, climate fear hysterics, consulting for bucks [ http://chignectogroup.com/ ], his focus on  "education" as the "Rotary" mayor, is concerning... he is a scientific-supremicist technocrat.. people like John are not great for liberty and freedom.. they all need to be voted out.. ASAP.  When John Higham deleted his facebook page immediately upon being elected as Mayor in 2016 it showed the public that was paying attention that he didn't want to interract with them.

I asked Higham about a skatepark project for our town; he pretended to be deaf.

2020 is election year.. its your chance to give him the boot up the arse.. he was educated in B.C. and we went to the same highschool there .. imagine that? 
His "David Suzuki" style education didn't stick with me .. I have rejected UN Agenda 2030 and global governance.. I know how destructive this cult is.

A few years ago I was reporting on the 'fat cats' sending more money to Mount Allison University for another pet "climate related" project...

so when people tell me to start up a fundraiser for the skatepark project I've been promoting here for our youth I point to this example as to why children should not ever be asked to raise money for a project at all .. the taxes paid are public monies for projects that benefit the public.

Despite this multi-million dollar generous chunk of change being happily dropped into the environmentalists' tip jar it really didn't help the Liberals secure this riding in the last election .. imagine that?  Maybe they should have thought of the regular Canadians - instead of behaving like sycophants to the academics... ?

No pipelines will get built; no much needed energy projects will be advanced .. sadly - its all just about cronyism ... its just about sucking money from the public purse and appearing to be constructive.  Mount Allison University sucks hard on the tit... I say they need to be cut off ... I'd say they've taken far more than enough.

Brian Gallant still appears to be in shock that he lost this election.. I'm not.. I realize how hard the 'green' push in this province... culturally 'green' is more powerful than 'big oil' .. but no one ever talks about 'big green' .. do they?
"Big Green" are very powerful behind the scenes... don't underestimate them.. another word you can use to describe them is "technocrats".

Who is "Renaissance Sackville", why are they funded, and do we need more social engineers in this town?  Next year will mark the 25 th anniversary of this 'community' organizer group of volunteers..

The money that this group has sucked out of the taxpayers would have paid for a really amazing concrete skatepark years ago .. I am surprised I am the only one who seems to point this out.. but I'm a person who likes projects not politicians and liberty not social engineering / manipulating others..

and no........ it doesn't take a village...... what is true is that it takes hard work, effort, drive and ambition... not more nannystatism.

We have a lot of this crap fomenting in the 'hub' known as "The Commons" here in Sackville NB too.

They feel their work is 'transformational'... and it is ... its definitely a departure from capitalism.
Public-private-partnerships are not entrepreneurial - they are cronyism/communitarian, "commi" ..
and I am watching politicians like the Mayor of Sackville John Higham promote them with gusto.
Vote John out in 2020.. time to go John.. the region does not need more public-private-partnerships.
