Sackville Farmers Market Managed by Michael Freeman... Face Masks Are Not Mandatory at The Market FYI

American Michael Freeman arrived in Sackville by train from Montreal to join with his girlfriend Julia Feltham who at that time worked for Renaissance Sackville after her arrival here from Halifax.  Michael has managed the Town's Sackville Farmers Market on and off for roughly seven years.  The job does not pay a huge salary but he is very engaged.

Both Michael and Julia are creative and musicians.

Julia's current project is "The Commons" which has been written about before at this blog.

Michael Freeman's upcoming event is the Fall Fair Harvest Supper... $50 a ticket; he notes as follows:

We are very excited to launch ticket sales for our Fall Fair Harvest Supper, featuring Little Shemogue Oyster Company Bagtown Brewing Company Dixon's Farm Fresh Beef Mel's Tearoom Willow Farm NB Trueman Blueberry Farms Ketchup With That

Tickets are $50. Head to https://www.sackvillefarmersmarket.ca/ to order!

Come have oysters, local brews, grilled steaks, fresh salads, pie and ice cream with us! It's bound to be a lovely evening in The Town of Sackville, New Brunswick

Customers / visitors to the market absolutely do have the right to refuse to wear face masks - - its not a law ... its just a suggestion...

Jennifer Joncas I will not go to an outdoor market and wear a mask. Absolutely not. We have foĺlowed the rules and they are now changing. Why is this market special?
  • Sackville Farmers Market Jennifer Joncas Our market is special for lots of reasons! You are not obligated to wear a mask, but it will help keep people safe, and so we are encouraging it!
