“I was grinning like a fool the whole time,” Evans said.

Gotta say...the entitlement grifters in the university town
really never cease to amaze me...
There are still some honest players who want to make music,
have fun, and gather.. and then donate some bucks to charity..
such as...

Ol' "Wark Times" Bruce covers Sappyfest's push to now insist on the use of the private property of a new, successful local business for their own grift in their shitty festival propaganda films..... Oy vey.. please, just say no to them folks.  As typical for this moocher org... like any little critters if you feed them
they'll keep coming looking for more.. so stop feeding them... its time.

"When Evans asked if Sappyfest was also asking for money to help with the event, MacKinnon assured him that he was not seeking more financial support. The town has already contributed a $4,000 special events grant to Sappyfest this year."

.. so they will use public pressure to get what they want...  Its OK to say no to Sappypests, in fact, its a great thing.  Local businesses do not owe Sappy anything.
