Blooms Flowers and Plants Shop has relocated into John Lafford 131 Main Street building [location above was demolished this week] as part of the new project to create much more housing in a seven storey new build .. it will be a great addition to the downtown scene as housing has been a huge issue and shortages have forced many people to leave.  It was a shame that the building could not be relocated or saved as it was an attractive piece of local architecture.  The new location for the business does look pretty terrific too .. more here:

Jenny and Johnny's Wealth Creation Construction of Expensive & Ugly SMARTgrowth Towers for Moncton

 "Three Sisters

September 8
Moncton’s tallest residential towers are coming right along!
Three Sisters along the River, will be ready for September 2023 and are now leasing. The beautiful towers offer a variety of apartments – from bachelor units, to 3-bedroom penthouses with 11 foot ceilings.
Take a look at this YouTube video to see the progress:

The back story given to us behind the "Three Sisters" name brand is laughable...

John Lafford has 'four' daughters with his wife Heidi.. Go figure?

More here:  Three Sisters | Moncton NB | Facebook

As a no b.s. type Gen X from an immigrant family and one of 'three sisters' I consider all the greedy 'SMARTGROWTH' shills to be the enemy and I hope that they see the light and change their ways and start to #BuildBackBeauty instead of ugly SMARTgrowth projects.. its not too late to be part of a true renaissance instead of creating a prison-landscape!

How is packing people into ugly, expensive, concrete, rental towers in the city anything like planting vegetable gardens and growth? Growth of personal wealth for Lafford and Celly perhaps... rentals.... @ $1,700 per month for a one bedroom apartment, $2,000 per month for a two bedroom apartment,  $3,500 per month for a three bedroom apartment?  Wow.  The concrete would be put to better use in a new skatepark in #Tantramarshire...

New tab (tantramarskateparkproject.blogspot.com)

Just wow... no garden, no where to relax, no place to just quietly listen to the birds, plant flowers, trees, vegetables... put down your feet on some grass and earth..

they are actively bringing what's wrong with Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver, Montreal to New Brunswick it is a stupid but greedy plan... have folks really learned nothing watching the big cities with their idiotic 'SMART' growth planning take over the landscape?

What could be more soul-destroying than living inside a little box of a tower housing project ... this not the future you should wish for any of your fellow New Brunswickers.. what are these people REALLY contributing to society but more 'densified' living and increased cost of living ...

"symbolic of growth, mutual support and community" says Lafford.... utter bullshit.... communitarian lingo from Lafford -- he will make a HUGE financial killing for years to come with the help of his REALTOR sidekick Jenny Celly who herself relocated to Sackville

Jenny Celly, Realtor | Moncton NB | Facebook

.. she does not live in SMART-growth pack 'n' stack housing with her family but lives comfortably in a house here with a garden AS DOES LAFFORD who has lived here in Sackville his whole life.. so these people are simply greedy, hypocritical, ambitious phonies...

WE MUST end SMARTgrowth in the Tantramarshire long before this sort of high density housing is permitted in our beautiful 'shire' .  . . . home gardens and quality of life on the land creates joy and abundance!

Lifestyle is important.

Samples of their chicken coop rental boxes in the sky are below...

After making downtown Sackville ugly with SMARTgrowth builds Lafford's ambitions have taken him to Moncton to be a developer of more UGLINESS... people are not meant to live in this way.

The Anti Communitarian League vs. Communitarianism (bitchute.com)

It is unGodly....  "Catholics for Cash"... there's a slogan you could honestly run with "Latina Jenny" and Johnny...

your God appears to be money.

People ask me, “Why Three Sisters?” The answer is very close to the origins of Canada’s culture, and very close to my heart.

As a young man I became a collector of Inuit and Indigenous art, and I was struck by how often the image of Three Sisters appeared in a painting or a carving, the figures intertwined in mutual support.

As my appreciation of such works grew, I learned how much we owe to all those who taught our ancestors the agricultural wisdom of Three Sisters - corn, beans, and squash - three vegetables, planted together, supporting each other in growth, and feeding the communities that nurtured them.

Time passed, and my wife Heidi and I were blessed with children - first one daughter, then twin girls, and then a fourth daughter. And as they grew, it struck me that each would always have Three Sisters to count on for love, for companionship, and for mutual support

And so, as the vision of this building project took shape - three stately towers overlooking the Petitcodiac River, designed to shelter hundreds of households on the shores of downtown Moncton - with it there grew the image of the Three Sisters, symbolic of growth and mutual support and community... a tribute to the inspiration of the earliest artists and farmers of this land, bearing the names of some of the dearest people in my life: our eldest, Quinn;, our twins, Gwenythe and Elle; and our youngest, Caroline.

"June 10, 2020 - MONCTON–A large apartment development that has the potential to change Moncton’s downtown skyline now has a name: The Three Sisters Along the River.

While only one sister is under construction right now, John Lafford said the name was inspired by the beauty in nature at sites like the Three Sisters rocks in Parrsboro, which is the recurring motif in art of three sisters, and the fact that each of his four daughters has three sisters.

“I’m an art collector and that’s part of where the inspiration came to me. Ultimately, the buildings are synergistic with each other. It’s a bunch of different things but through my connection to art and my daughters, [I] came up with that name,” he said.

Coinciding with the branding of the development, Lafford has started leasing apartments in the first tower, at 20 Record Street.

“We just started taking deposits and have had a lot of interest and phone calls but haven’t put too much pen to paper yet,” Lafford said.

Lafford, who owns Sackville-based Lafford Properties, said he’ll have a better idea of how popular the apartments are over the next couple of months after his company, Lafford Realty, starts a promotional campaign for the buildings.

RELATED: Construction Ahead Of Schedule On Downtown Moncton Apartment Complex

Lafford plans to wait to see how quickly the first of three 15-storey towers rents out before starting work on the second.

“We’re doing them one at a time, so we don’t put ourselves in a position of weakness by putting a whole bunch of units on the market and not being sure whether they’ll absorb into the market or not,” he said in October. At a time, the apartment vacancy rate in Moncton was 1.5 percent, according to CMHC figures.

If all three towers are built, Lafford could be bringing as many as 450 new apartments to Moncton at a time when vacancy rates remain low.

The 150 units in the first apartment tower, which will vary in size from 700 to 3,000 square feet, will rent from around $1,250 to $2,000 a month.

“It’ll be something new, and new downtown, so it’ll be something nice. We’re going to try and hit all the price points,” Lafford noted.

Lafford, who received city council’s approval to build on the property in late May 2021, said construction is a little ahead of schedule – a similar scenario to when he spoke to Huddle last October, as crews were finishing the foundation of the first tower.

RELATED: Three Towers In Downtown Moncton Approved

Each tower will feature a variety of unit sizes, from smaller bachelor apartments to full-sized penthouse suites. Lafford said crews are just finishing up work on the 11th floor, with plans to build four more floors and the roof this summer.

“It’s taking shape,” he said, adding that work wasn’t significantly slowed this past winter’s ugly weather.

“I’d be lying if I said snow didn’t slow us down, but it didn’t deter or discourage us. We’re well-organized from the management down and we got through that hump. January was a bad month and February gave us hope and we had a great March.”

Lafford originally bought the property from Slate Office REIT in 2020 and broke ground for the first of the Three Sisters in July 2021, after wrapping up work on the $30-million Birch Meadows apartment in the Lewisville neighbourhood.

Before Lafford purchased the property, the City of Moncton voted seven to four against a plan to turn it into a 365-space parking lot for the nearby Blue Cross Centre, in 2019.

Updated: What The Hell Happened? "The Ark" and state of housing shortages, manufactured scarcity, and the "Agenda"

The world needs more doers, designers, builders, plumbers, carpenters, electricians, architects, creators... it doesn't need more university-produced trainwreck social justice minions... its not complicated... homes & jobs for humans; abundance not scarcity. #BuildBackBeauty

Is land use restriction a good thing for humans? No.. its not.
We need more single family houses on more lands and acreages..
more jobs will be created for skilled workers at good pay.  We simply must have a culture and an education system that encourages the building of more houses for humans ... "build baby build!"... BECAUSE there is lots of land in Tantramarshire!

"The Ark" from the visionary bio-shelter builders on Prince Edward Island in 1976 [pre-UN Agenda 21 / Agenda 2030]

Into so-called 'smart'growth?

"Smart"? Who says so?

Downtown the landscape is now looking more like an ugly movie set than a quaint small town... by design...  like every town and city everywhere else, ugliness.

Beauty is how this region was established in the 1760s... it must continue its tradition.

From this beautiful church now removed to make way for 'development'...

to now this collection of box living for renters crowded in together making downtown 'densely populated' -- as per their smartgrowth "Agenda" -- just say no thank you!  We must reject this 'land use planning' stuff now:

"Smartgrowth" retail below with upper floors of rental suites..

in Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada, 2016

[builder:  J.R. Lafford ]

Why are humans being herded and
coralled into 'smartgrowth' living?

... I think that its a sad commentary
on what is considered 'progress'...
its a big step away from liberty,
 freedom, independant living...
this culture of cramming people
in on top of each other...
isn't it just bound to be an epic fail.... ?

That's why I started
"Moms Against Agenda 21 /
Agenda 2030 in Canada"
 on Facebook ...

video here:

but I have been removed from that
platform for a number of years now...
"cancelled" before anyone was
really even talking about 'cancel culture'
I have lived it!!!

But we must speak up because this sort of development needs
to be halted and rejected in favour
of liberty-loving, land use freedoms, privacy,
and a 'back to the land' movement for all humans..
because we're not meant to be
 so crowded in
to chicken coop style high density housing ..
it is inhumane ... and it is unnecessary when
this is such a huge country with so much land...
so what the hell is going on?

Someone is getting rich off this type of development...
preferred developers are preferred
by the government... why?
It is a lucrative club I call them the new bolsheviks...
know their names...
know their affiliations and actions...
know their names and their 'groups'
and their allegiances...
they cannot be allowed to dominate the
people of Tantramarshire!

Wealthy John Lafford is continuing to contribute
to the overall 'smartgrowth' density building
of Tantramarshire....

not a great legacy to leave behind...
it does please the social engineers in the UK such as
"Sustainable Prince Charles" and his very wealthy friends
with the WEF World Economic Forum and
United Nations - just to name a few organizations
working on this 'plan' for humanity...

and what's to stop the John Laffords out there
when 'money talks' and global governance
sustainable development goals are their working
and approved government Agenda?

More on John Lafford's high density
'smart'growth buildings
 at this link:

More on the Agenda with Ontario's Jessica Annis...
-- an accredited Land Use Planner who has not sold out to the United Nation's
sustainable development and global governance goals
which promote ONLY control and 'scarcity' ...
not wealth and abundance... and are
therefore anti-human goals...
WE WANT THE OPT OUT FROM THEIR AGENDA!

We aren't gonna let these mega
wealthy bastards win ... are we?

John Lafford to buy historic property
in town on large acreage from
Gordon Hallet Beal?

Mr. Beal knew the score around here...

Footnote of concern..
a Twitter share from 2019:

Over 3000 private properties in Canada might be handed over to American Indian tribes, and the property owners are being kept in the dark about it. Imagine losing your house and land out of the blue.
Informing them could "frustrate progress":
"if the landowners were informed that they live within the claim area, “there is a real possibility that many of them will seek to participate in this proceeding.” That, Justice Fisher said, could “frustrate” the progress of the case."

Some make a lot of noise about Tiny Houses...

basically its life in a dog shed.. not a solution.
