"Welcome to Beal University Canada's Grand Opening!

Beal University Canada, is New Brunswick's newest private university, dedicated to educating nurses to the highest standards of the Canadian nursing profession with the necessary approval from the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB).

Who We Are: Beal University Canada (BUC) was established in 2023, as the first private university to offer the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in New Brunswick, to meet the critical shortage of registered nurses in the province.

BUC was created as an extension of its sister university in Bangor, Maine- Beal University (Beal). Beal has graduated over 10,000 students since it was founded in 1891 in Bangor, Maine. Beal has been enrolling nursing students from Canada since 2019. With the encouragement and support of the provincial government, BUC was established to provide a local opportunity for students to enroll in the BScN program.
