CAPITALISM! Discussions in Tantramar Last Night at the Greater Dorchester Candidate Connect Event

A small turn out but a great evening of discussion.

Meeting Jonelle Mace, Executive Director with Greater Dorchester Moving Forward Co-operative (station8nb.ca)

Big thank you to the great organizers for this cozy event in the Veterans Community Centre with all five candidates in attendance to answer questions, put forth their platforms and discuss ideas from the audience afterwards... it was a small group but a very worthwhile gathering of 20 or so locals.

Some ideas discussed included the BIG problem with carbon tax and also the BIG problem with Regional Service Commissions [ SERSC ] and why they should be de-commissioned / defunded AND THE FUNDS used for more functional things such as a great new concrete skatepark venue here in Tantramar for our youth who had asked in 2013.

All five candidates agreed when asked to oppose the Federal carbon tax - it should go!  Unfortunately, Megan Mitton [Green MLA] however had to insert her condition that she wanted to see "cap and trade" implemented.. which only makes sense for this career grifter and chronic "climateering" charlatan.  Megan Mitton MLA is a "limited hangout" and would never promote the late Dr. Tim Ball's books. I do. Science matters.

PLEASE:

Remember to vote - election day is Monday October 21st.. and your voice matters and your vote is your voice.. as well as your ongoing attention and participation in discussions in this region.

The addition of Donna Allen the Libertarian Party of New Brunswick @ http://lpnb.ca Candidate from Cape Tormentine has added great new and thought-provoking ideas [such as the elimination of all property taxes] to the current conversations that need to take place with the rural folks in Tantramar - their voices matter too!

Some discussions with the attendees afterwards were with respect to the Biodigital Convergence, Smart Cities, AI, Digital Economy, Digital Currency, policy at "Horizons Canada" Youtube issues/concerns..
