Rather, Technocracy was to be a resource-based system, accounted for by an energy currency that would completely displace traditional debt-based currencies. In 1938, The Technocrat magazine stated, Technocracy is the science of social engineering, the scientific operation of the entire social mechanism to produce and distribute goods and services to the entire population…” Should the world be run by scientists and engineers who rely exclusively upon the scientific method?
