"Range Safety Officer" from the Government? Sounds Like The Snitch Culture In Action Here

Had an opportunity to attend the Sackville Rod & Gun Club meeting last night January 5th at the Main Street Baptist Church. Aside from their regular business, the meeting was focused on bringing members up to speed on the expansion of the club's shooting range on Walker Road, safety around its use and the expansion of the important position of Range Safety Officer for the organization. The Sackville range on Walker Road is arguably one of the finest ranges in the province and the club and its members have done amazing work on it. They have many activities planned over the next year to engage not just their members but anyone interested in outdoor sports, particularly the youth in our community.
The club has just over 370 members currently but they are always looking to expand. The yearly membership fee is $50 and the work that they do for our community and other groups such as Scouts Canada, is highly rewarding and build a sense of belonging.
Thanks to the club for having me at the meeting!!
