I'm monitoring the onilne comments by the public .. there are those who want to see the park closed.... and there are those who believe its still a 'safe space'...

"Waterfowl Park Boardwalks are now One-Way Only

In an effort to provide active living opportunities, but to respect social distancing requirements, we’re making the Waterfowl Park boardwalk areas one-way only. Signage has now been installed and we will be evaluating usage over the next few days. Please be mindful of these new directions when visiting the Waterfowl Park and avoid touching all railings. Remember, we all have responsibility to help prevent the spread of the virus. Therefore, get some fresh air and exercise, but please keep a distance of at least 2 metres from others. Thank you for your cooperation."

Chara LaRusic I wish Nova Scotia would follow this ðŸ˜–

Myrna Steeves they should be closed here
Dan Martin Great! Thank you!

Jodi Morris-Pond I love that the trails are one direction only. Sackville a smart place!

Diana Klaassen We were out for a drive and visiting different green spaces. Folks acting respectfully, leaving the car next to them to get out and up the trail before getting out themselves. As someone who spends alot of time in the outdoors, being locked indoors would be tough mentally

Holly Hulford Awesome!! ðŸ™‚ please everyone respect the social distancing, because being able to take the kids on hikes is huge in keeping a sense of normalcy for them (and us!)

Jan Shreve McLeod I was in the Waterfowl Park twice today, not many people out, but those who were, were following the posted route and keeping their distance from each other.

Debbie Reid
Debbie Reid So confused....does this mean I cannot head into town from covered bridge over the water pathway #2, but the rails to trails? I did notice the trail pathway is both directions?

Mike Whittleton
Mike Whittleton I was concerned about the number of people in Foodland too. No security and poor set up for hand sanitizing.

Margaret Hancox
Margaret Hancox Can we also implement a "no running" policy for the same reasons as the single direction?

Carmella Hollis
Carmella Hollis Should be closed this is not in compliance with gov and we should not be encouraging people to use this..stay home people..or we will never slow this down..will someone be posted to ensure this is followed..i doubt it..common sence is close it..do you think kids are not going to touch rails or adults for that matter..ugh

Ken Hicks
Ken Hicks The park should be closed! Provincial parks closed, federal parks closed, beaches closed.
Stop trying to outsmart the virus!
Stay home means stay home!
