Shawn - Town Councillor Facebook Page Advice for Citizens in Sackville New Brunswick

My advice for Shawn is to stay off Facebook and stop spreading COVID-19 fear.

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well during these uncertain times.
At times I marvel at how busy downtown Sackville is.
However as I took a drive Friday and again today I was dismayed as to how busy downtown Sackville was.
Although the essential retailers are open it is not shopping as usual.
We should be limiting our visits to these retailers.
We need to plan our shopping for necessities to once a week if not once every two weeks.
We need to spend a limited amount of time in these retailers and we need to go home again.
Utilize on line or phone ordering. Have your essential items picked up or delivered.
The smallest of interactions can carry consequences for you, your family and those who are working in these retailers.
Please, please, please do not make these needed excursions a family outing to the store.
Please limit your store visits to one person if at all possible.
Please be respectful and responsible when seeking out your essential goods.
It is a matter of public safety and with the state of emergency it is the law to uphold social distancing.
Be Safe!
Be Kind!"
