Earlier this year Derrick Dixon @ Hounds of Vintage Facebook writes:
"ALL ARE WELCOME...
"Pride is Political!! Pride started as a riot against the cops!!
Join us for two nights of new queer cinema co-presented by Struts & Faucet’s current Open Studio artist-in-residence Jamie Ross (Montreal) and the New Brunswick Queer History Initiative and Hounds of Vintage. Queer movements demanding social change are inspiring as frick. Leading up to Sackville Pride, we’re playing two films that connect ongoing queer movements that remind us of our collective power to dream the better world into being" -- http://www.strutsgallery.ca/sackville-queer-film-fest-festival-du-cinema-queer-a-sackville/
▲TERRITORY
Sackville Queer Film Nights takes place in the Siknikt District of Mi’kma’ki (Mi’kmaq Territory) and its unceded nature is formalized under the Peace and Friendship Treaties. All political acts are framed in relation to this important fact.*

Attending Pride 2015 in Sackville New Brunswick Canada.. a historic event.. the police were great.. the crowd was great... there were no problems in our safe and sleepy little Sackville... if anyone wants to cause problems and interfere with freedom of association and gatherings of like-minded individuals we call those people fascists.. has Hounds of Vintage ever interfered with public gatherings of groups of people in Sackville? Yes. Derrick Dixon protested a gathering this year in May at the Painted Pony Restaurant for Maxime Bernier supporters and PPC candidate Nancy Mercier. No decent human would dream of protesting gatherings for Queer celebrations.. Sackville is a great little town .. you'd have a hard time finding fascists around here... if you are saying online that you are "queer" and you don't feel safe perhaps its because of extreme social justice activism/provocation?

We know where the real intolerance comes from these days, and it's clearly from the fascist left.
The self-righteousness of this crowd is sickening.
