The Mayor Thinks We Need Windmills.. He Doesn't Care About A Skatepark Though...

If the town spent less than $500K they could have a terrific skatepark for the youth in the region... I've been campaigning for these kids since 2015 .. I watched how the youth made efforts and put on a presentation at least 3 years ago in front of the town council and mayor for a youth skatepark .. but they've been ignored; and it makes me sad.... I'm sad because this current mayor John Higham feels that a six/seven turbine windfarm project costing millions of dollars that no one wants and doesn't serve the public is his TOP priority in 2017.... I really regret voting for this 'technocrat' .. I won't vote in the next election.. I am certain that the politicians do not listen to the public at all .. they've been awful towards the Tantramar Gas Bar who have been trying to build a coffee drive-thru .. absolutely do not understand how blocking a business from improving is something our council should be doing...

Keep in mind that this current mayor was also part of the crew of public servants earlier in this decade who decided, without public referendum, to build themselves a $14 million palace complex townhall ... says a lot.  The Town of Sackville has uploaded their more recent town hall meetings on to youtube.. check them..
