WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENTDocumenting Art Part 2:
Editing Photographs
January 9, 2025, 7-9pm
Pre-registration Required
In the sequel to our Documenting Art workshop, participants will learn how to edit their newly captured documentation photographs using Adobe Camera Raw and Adobe Photoshop. Join Production Manager Lucas Morneau as they introduce RAW photograph editing. Participants will learn how to edit exposure and colour, dodging and burning, and simple photoshop tricks to make documentation photos look their best. Image files will be made available to participants prior to the workshop. Participants are asked to bring a laptop with a copy of Adobe Photoshop. If you do not have your own laptop but would like to participate, let us know – we have a limited number of computers available to loan and may be able to provide one for you.
Participants are NOT required to have attended Documenting Art Part 1.

𝙎𝙬𝙖𝙥 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 is a bi-monthly gathering initiated by Struts Gallery members. Bench pressing off the popularity of “Six Minute Eggs”, and in the spirit of community exchange, each 𝙎𝙬𝙖𝙥 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 will see informal and brief presentations by artists on a given theme, followed by questions from the audience. Part professional development, part community social, 𝙎𝙬𝙖𝙥 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩’s themes are member sourced.
𝙎𝙬𝙖𝙥 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 happens every second Tuesday of every second month, at 7pm, The first Swap Meet’s theme is “Residencies” and features presentations by Indu Varma, Linda Dornan, Karen Stentaford, Shary Boyle and Lucas Morneau.
