A unique feature of the Seguin is its versatility of showing either side as the front of the house depending on your property's features and views. From one side the exterior presents a proportioned approach, while the other is an asymmetrical design that creates remarkable curb appeal. From the covered porch that extends the entire width of the house, garden doors lead to the central great room. Inside, the great room features a cathedral ceiling that extends into the kitchen and eating nook. The kitchen has a very distinctive shape with an angled wall and island. A double sided optional fireplace is a great idea if you want a creative way to keep the kitchen and great room separated. Another special feature found in this model is the master bedroom. It is secluded in its own wing with double doors to the covered porch. There is even an area for a reading nook and a four-piece ensuite.

The Birch 747 is great for company or multi-generational living. The guest house and garage encompass 747 square feet of living area over another 747 square feet of double-car garage with two large storage rooms. The garage topped with a full living unit includes an open floor plan with spacious bedroom, living room, and kitchen which opens to a generously sized balcony for entertaining.

Great article by Sheri Koones on the many varieties of prefab homes. Here's what she says about ours:
"Kit houses go back to the old days when people bought houses in a catalog (think Sears houses), and they were shipped by train to the house site. However, kit houses today are far more sophisticated, efficient, and elaborate. All of the components for the house are built in the factory, numbered, and shipped to the site. Lindal Cedar Homes, a kit manufacturer in Washington State, ships their homes around the Unites States and around the world, including to Canada and Japan."
