Street Chalk Art Festival for the progressives, artivists, musicians, and more...
the eleven artists 'hired' are mostly from other places with exception of three locals..... I wonder how much they spent on this 'art' endeavour under the banner of "parks and rec" -- maybe Matt Pryde knows? $15,000? more?

One of the invited chalk artists is Emma H P ....

Emma was responsible for a memorable display

at "Struts Gallery" just before the 2015 Federal Election which didn't receive

much coverage.. perhaps because the gallery were not 

advertising or offering up the name of the mta.ca student artist .. 

but I remember her work because it was highly political and

extremely divisive and provocative... 

one entire wall was painted black with the words 

"Am I Next Mr. Harper? " 

as I toured the gallery with Ann Bastarache & Joel McIntosh..

I remember I was told not to take photos.. why?

Impeach Sappyfest ....

Sappyfest writes:  "The Kata List Productions account is not run by anyone who has ever been associated with Sappyfest. We were shocked to discover that it was representing itself as a promoter of Sappyfest. We have reported the account to twitter."  Sappyfest is something I have promoted for years but only recently on Twitter as the account was new... So here we have some bully organizers that are apparently thugs and do not want anyone to promote the local festival unless they approve of your beliefs and opinions [in other words you are a borgmind].. how friggin amusing these children are to me .... I've lived here since 2010 so I think if want to promote Sappyfest I will be doing so...  the founder Julie said we need to support the festival.

Steven Lambke who doesn't live here but visits in summer chimed in as well with outrage that someone would dare promote the festival without "permission".  Creepy Steven is looking for some accommodations here this summer https://twitter.com/StevenLambke [ who the hell is this joker anyway?]

Sappyfest is set for downtown again August 2-4, 2019 .. Sappyfest was started by Julie Doiron and her then husband Jon Claytor and friend Paul Henderson.. it was Paul that gave me the button ... I had given him some cookies.. Paul Henderson helped me out with some fresh design poster artwork for $50 a few years ago - Paul is a very cool guy ..

.. but these newer KIDS and goofy SJWs [social justice windbags] that took over running Sappyfest like Jess "President of Sappy" have a lot to learn about networking and inclusivity.  Kata List Productions was suspended by the snitch culture online.  Of course.

Like I said before on this 'festival'.. social justice activists have taken over this once cool indie festival and they have a very odd agenda, part virtue signalling, part pandering, #gibsmedat, grant writing, censorship and social engineering.

The bright side for the Sappy moochers is that the Town dislike what I do so much that they will probably reward you with even more money to assist your festival.

"Festival Inspire" is a week-long public arts festival turning Greater Moncton, Canada, into a visual wonderland for all to enjoy.
