Many thanks to everyone who attended the SCC AGM last Thursday evening. Everyone enjoyed a yummy bbq prepared by Kathy Best. Thank you Kathy! The SCC Board welcomes new directors Laurel McIntyre and David Weeks - thank you for volunteering! Outgoing directors Janet Robinson, Ian Fischer and Tom Trueman are thanked for their years of service to the club.

Of note: Tom thanked all the various volunteers without whom the club could not function. It is wonderful how any call for volunteers generates a healthy response - members really care for, and work hard, to keep the club vibrant and full of community spirit!"

Tuesday Oct. 8th is our first registration night.

Begins at 6:30 pm to 8 pm, at 22 Lansdowne St.

If you have never tried curling before, don't worry, we have a fantastic Learn to Curl program, that runs for six weeks on Saturday mornings. The cost is only $69, HST included, and if you decide you would like to curl in any of our leagues after the Learn to Curl program, this $60 will be deducted from our current 1st yr member pricing of $255.

Hope to see some new faces as well as current members.
