Big changes are coming with local government...

Marlene Hickman

According to the white paper recently released on Municipal Reform in New Brunswick, the first task of the new municipality will be to decide on a name for the region. Then comes an election in November 2022 for new representation.
What if the citizens of the region participate by suggesting appropriate names - ones that are inclusive and a new start rather than one that feels like domination and loss of identity. Something relevant to the entire area that brings us closer together, instead of dividing us. I think we can rest assured it will be several generations before the names of Dorchester, Sackville, Aulac, Point de Bute, Westcock, etc disappear from our individual identities, if they ever do.
I'll start - we could formally be known as "The Greater Tantramar Municipality" but casually just "Tantramar". The marshes are a unique and important part of our history and our attraction to the outside world. That name would also include the Acadians who first settled this area and dyked the marshes. We already have a well known Tantramar high school.
Change is coming whether we like it or not. Let's be proactive - and positive.

Julia Feltham [ change agent ] with Sackville Commons & CoWorking Speaks to CBC on Managing Online Facebook Group

The joys and hazards of moderating online community groups | Information Morning - Moncton with Jonna Brewer | Live Radio | CBC Listen

Its tough to listen to this CBC propaganda and not cringe... I have no idea how someone actually has the arrogance to believe they could possibly know what is allowed and isn't allowed in a discussion.... but online the whiney snitch culture dominates and that's why these platforms are best avoided... it would appear that this is also a 'closed' group so we have no way to know what they all find to gossip about but Julia's more than happy to police them and keep them all in line with the consistent removal of any 'wrongspeak' [she has a few helpers to remove posts including a Mount Allison instructor and Jeska Grue/Sappyfest Prez].

Julia Feltham is a networked 'change agent' who is trained and well versed in "Saul Alinsky methods"[an agitator].... she's a 'community organizer' and 'social enterprise' promoter / 'start ups' guru.. she's very good at 'acting' as an  authority doing herd management here and well embedded after only a few years living in town - now preferring a title "Queer Mum" [as though we needed to know her sexuality at all] I knew her long before she began the "Sackville Commons & Co-Working" space [see popular post here] and see:

I have tried to enlighten Julia Feltham and others of the dangers of the 'new social economy' that she actively promotes and benefits from.. she is a young soul who thinks she is an old soul.. please God... just let her learn more about the importance of keeping her mouth shut and listening to the uncomfortable views/concerns.
We don't want our children on the blockchain and a 'social credit' system like China has.. do we?
For now she's policing happily @
