The Case for a Great Concrete Skate Park in Tantramar

Unimpressive existing skate park is
an unimpressive embarrassment in a town
where the 'management' is willing to spend many
millions on: trails... ponds.. ditches... boardwalks...fancy garbage cans, benches, plant pots, sign posts, more signs, park shelters, fountains, fencing, water parks,
new playgrounds over top of old playgrounds,
bird sculptures, art sculptures, plaques,
rainbow crosswalks x3 and ornamental
bird sculptures and
 multiple George Stanley monuments ..
meanwhile, they removed the Bud Doncaster
plaque in the park this year... why?

What will it take for people to
snap out of their stupors here?

It is a culture of defeat
when it comes to creating a really
beneficial youth project ..
I KNOW the youth deserve this venue.

so are the youth of Tantramar LESS important than visiting drinkers, smokers, stoners, partiers, pukers and music groupies?  "Sappyfest" 2020 has just been given another $4000 for their vanity drunkfest... more free money for an outdoor music gathering that takes over the downtown and blocks traffic...
so where's the money that could be used to build something real and concrete and useful for our youth - the ones living here and growing up here.

I'm unimpressed with 'entitlement culture'
moochers who get money given to them..
Like local pub "Thunder & Lightning"
who were 'given' $4000 for a liquor cart
and website development by the Town..

that's again not doing a thing for local youth is it?
A project for the youth is a worthwhile endeavour.

 Facebook unavailable..

This is what a great concrete skate park looks like. THIS project would attract tourism to our region!  THIS PROJECT would help keep our youth active, happy, social and fit in the outdoors.

Any help to promote and advance

this great youth project is welcome...

the Rotary Club are not interested..

.. nor is ex-CBC Bruce Wark..

who is probably a CSIS mole..

and who I have now met in person...

so will he make an effort to

report on this youth project story?

I'm extremely disappointed

in Councillor Andrew Black

who I thought would help out..

The Town of Sackville needs to be honest and

transparent and disclose what is in the CAFR!
