Ann Corcoran's ongoing work and research on refugee resettlement watch https://twitter.com/RefugeeWatcher ... yes, there are reasons to proceed with caution ... it is common sense after all to protect your own and put your priorities on Canadians first.. in a sane world this would not even be an issue but because people are guilt-ridden into helping out people they do not even know and readily ignore people in their own vicinity - because of global village indoctrination - we see the future coming into focus .. open borders, no one is illegal and mass immigration programmes into Canada with virtually no apparent resistance.. so far.
