I'm reposting this today ..
to show that there is an impact ... originally shared before they
published De Adder at "Sackville Tribune Post"...
I guess some people are reading this blogger...
I'm so inclusive - it probably drives them bonkers...
oh my university towns are a riot of p.c. culture..
Follow De Adder on Twitter: https://twitter.com/deAdder
Michael even has the star of the movie " War Inc. " John Cusack now tweeting his stuff... Wow.... Imagine that? John Cusack himself was in a bit of hot water recently over this tweet: [he had to retract and apologize, of course]
Personally I found Twitter gross... #Twitter the Cat Piss Filled Sandbox
So anyways... if you think Michael de Adder's cartoons should be published in our local "Sackville Tribune Post" [ a Saltwire Network publication eh? https://www.saltwire.com/] ... PLEASE let them know... I let them know stuff & sometimes they listen .. but most times they don't and I've come to see Scott and Katie at the " Sackville Tribune Post " as locals who have been tightly scripted by a university culture "media cabbal" that I will call the 'technocrats' to rigidly publishing only certain stories and stick to a particular narrative.. the 'community' narrative... [ Keep in mind that De Adder is a local Mount Allison University graduate .. one of his art professors was our own former town councillor Virgil Hammock, retired arts in his 80s who is very engaged on his cell phone and twitter too .. https://twitter.com/virgilsson?lang=en ]
But they have to keep their jobs and so I understand how they may have to be kept on a leash .. that's how it goes right? The last thing you want to do around here is advocate against the 'media cabbal' FOR oil and gas and pipelines and oil sands development.. amiright?
I'm no longer in every newspaper in New Brunswick, but as fate would have it I am still in one. The Sackville Tribune-Post. I'm a graduate of Mount Allison University in Sackville. The Tribune was the very first newspaper to run my work and pay me.
