I'd prefer the government wasn't taking so much money from taxpayers in the first place rather than see them act as do-gooders by giving everyone free money just because they have a pulse... it doesn't make people happier, it makes them dependant and breeding a culture of dependency and 'entitlement mentality' is not 'going forward' as some are advocating that say they have done their research.
Lower taxes... across the board.. and see what happens for all the folks, why not?
