Meanwhile the youth project for a
new concrete skatepark and tourism
continues to go neglected..
Tried to speak with the town's tourism manager
on the street in the 'hood the other day
but he pretended not to see me..
and then randomly yelled
to me about calling the police... sad little puppy....
#priorities .. while I love the waterfowl park I do believe this project for the youth is overlooked year in and year out in favour of the older people who have forgotten the vitality and energetic nature of youth .. they need a great skatepark; a real concrete skatepark would be good for their social life, get them off the computer screens and gaming systems.. they would have a place to call their own to play... they need room to move .. the current skatepark is completely inadequate with no sunshade whatsoever and located next to dirt hills that blow onto their area... its a shame no one cares enough to get involved and do something.. I am always amazed how much money there is for other projects.. I started this page to show support for the youth, including Ethan Sears, who presented to town council in 2013.
