PPC Beausejour Event Friday at The Painted Pony Cancelled

Maxime Bernier's PPC is a new federal party https://twitter.com/MaximeBernier

I'd like to know why angry "social justice" activists feel they have the right to riot in our local restaurants where people gather JUST because they do not conform to their 'radical social justice agenda'?  Also, I would like to know who was threatening the local business? I want the names of these people.

As someone who supports and promotes our local businesses I am concerned about this issue as we all should be -- are 'green party' members operating as thugs in our town? This is completely unacceptable and should be addressed soon.

As an adult homeowner with a stake in my town I am deeply saddened to see the direction the "culture" in this town is going towards rampant censorship.

I will not be coming in the restaurant to use my gift card.

Contact the Mayor at sackville.com, contact the local RCMP and please also contact the restaurant at Facebook https://www.facebook.com/paintedpony99/

Painted Pony Owner writes on Facebook:
We are NOT and WILL NEVER host any political event by ppc or any other at The Painted Pony. Please take down your registration for this event as it is not happening at my establishment

Little happy face comment by Jill who has no clue what freedom of speech and what freedom of association is and why they matter so much in our democracy.

Jill is a green party minion & has been trained at MTA.ca to be a global village citizen and clearly she has zero respect for Canadians and their rights and freedoms to gather and socialize. Sickening.

Green is the new red.  I didn't vote for the Megan Mitton Cult of Green in this town .. I do not support their agenda and their carbon tax and anti-industry and anti-fossil fuels stance.. I am one of the founding members of the PPC party.

URGENT EVENT NOTICE / AVIS D'ÉVÉNEMENT URGENT

Updated: 6 hours ago
(version française suivra)

Our “Meet & Greet” Event scheduled for Friday May 24th in Sackville is cancelled until further notice as we’ve been contacted by the management of the Painted Pony Restaurant, Kathy Beal, via telephone and Facebook DEMANDING we not have our friendly gathering at her establishment because she's been threatened by gay (LGBTQ) persons in the community and students of “Gender Studies” at Mount Alison University with trouble and rioting, as they do not agree with our political views or “ideologies.”
In our brief phone conversation, Mrs. Beal angrily stated she did NOT welcome or wanted anyone of our group at her restaurant and will prevent anyone from our party of entering her establishment as she believes we are anti-gay, racist and discriminatory! Nancy told her we were meeting for food and drinks, not a “political” event, and that she was wrongfully and unlawfully prohibiting a public gathering, which she unequivocally answered she didn’t care and would be in touch with her lawyer to stop us from “ruining” her business?!
Therefore, until we’ve received legal counsel of our own in this matter, we will RESPECT Mrs. Beal’s wishes and not meet at her establishment. However, the attributes we are being accused of are not only false and hateful, but are very discriminatory as well, considering that our party has members of every nationality, ethnicity, colour, creed, faith or religion and sexual orientation, including, muslims and immigrants. Indeed, anyone can join The People’s Party, provided they honour and uphold our principals and values of individual freedom, personal responsibility, fairness and respect.
Nonetheless, our event in Shediac will go on as planned at the Bayou Restaurant Pub tomorrow evening, as we confirmed with the management of this establishment that we are VERY welcomed to gather there! For added security and to prevent “hateful” interference of any kind, we will have extra persons on hand for this event, and have alerted the police as well.
It’s an unfortunate turn of events and we suspect not the last, as clearly some are afraid, threatened and/or angry with what we represent and uphold, but regardless, we will continue our march forward, undeterred in making Canada strong, free, prosperous, safe and united again.
Our solidarity matters more then ever, so we hope you’ll join us for our event tomorrow and all other upcoming events, to Help Us Save Canada and Make History Together!
One Last Thing - Please make a donation of $10 or more if you can to help us pay the legal fees in this matter. Thank you for your support!
