"Paula Sepp Yes. It is. It's also ok to be a person of colour - any colour. It's also ok to be straight, bi, gay, trans. It's ok to be Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Atheist, Agnostic, Pagan, or any of the 4200 recognized religions in the world.
We're currently trying to get people to understand that ALL PEOPLE ARE EQUAL, and should therefore have EQUAL RIGHTS and REPRESENTATION under the law.
We do not need Straight, White Pride. You don't get a pat on the head for being straight, or white. We need to reach out a hand and bring minorities and marginalized people up to the same level of acceptance and tolerance that we as white people see every day."
Should be noted that Paula Sepp's comment come through to me on the page "Canadian Immigration Policy Institute" on facebook.. a new page created to host a forum for discussion .. believe me there are people who would love me to remove the page .. they're the mouthpieces who decide what acceptable topics of discussion are .. you could include the rev. John Perkin at mta.ca's wife Dodie in that pack of know-it-alls... all the more important to host the forum in my opinion .. let's hear your thoughts... after all if you let these 'whackademics' control the narrative you've already lost as you'll be hard pressed to find a sane and rational thought rattling around in their skulls.. that's how it is for those who are comfortable and protected in the ivory tower world.
