There is a lot of potential for development here; its not a welcome thought for many who just want to land grab and keep humans out.. see also "Community Land Trusts" which are being promoted in this region .. in partnership with NGO orgs. that are funded by government such as "Community Forests International" .. the give-away is the word 'community' .. its communitarianism .. and that's a problem.. it is as Niki Raapana describes it "the dictatorship of the community" .. more at ACL Books Alaska http://nord.twu.net/acl ..
