Do you have a business and pay taxes in Town? Question why Town of Sackville employee Jamie Burke authorized gifting $4,000 to a local pub [owned by his neighbours on St. James Street] in December 2019 through Renaissance Sackville organization -- why is the town funding Renaissance Sackville at all? Isn't it time to stop playing favourites and giving away money to businesses and NGOs and non-profits? Its unfair..... Some concerning precedents and spending trends are being set by the Burke. Since when do pubs and alcohol qualify as places that enrich the healthy lifestyles and improve the lives of people? Discuss.
